"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If...

"Great stay, the house is very conveniently located (50 feet to the beach, 0.5 mile to a Harris Teeter). There's some beach stuff (chairs, a beach cart, an umbrella, a few body boards). A few things to consider when renting this house:1. Bring a few knives. The ones that are there are super dull2. Bring spices, sugar, and salt 3. There's no AC in the smaller bedroom. They've compiled a binder with just about everything you need to know about the island, the area, restaurants, etc. The cottage feels like home, and it's proximity to the York River provided lovely views, as well as a wide array of birds, from eagles to osprey to herons and more. The cottage was so comfortable that we didn't even mind being rained in for a day. "

"This is a fantastic condo. Located near all the amenities that we have access too. My daughter was playing a big two day golf tournament, so the proximity to the putting green and course was golden. The owners communicated well and description was spot on. It was very clean, comfortable and attention to detail was great. My favorite part was the king size bed!!!!! So so so comfortable. I really enjoyed the property and will book again."

"Hotel bem localizado, boas instalações e atendimento. Só houve um pequeno senão: saímos do quarto, fizemos o check out; quando entrei no carro, percebi que havia esquecido agua e refrigerantes no frigobar. Voltei na recepção que me autorizou a subir para verificar. Ao chegar no quarto já havia uma arrumadeira, abri a geladeira e a mesma estava vazia, perguntei a ela sobre as coisas e ela disse que não tinha visto nada. Tudo bem, que quem pegou tenha feito um bom proveito!"
