But everything was fine and aside from check in/check out we had no interaction with the staff. Our unit was spotless and looked as if it had been recently updated. It was also spacious. The kitchen was stocked with silverware, glasses, dishes etc. If you are a person that needs housekeeping to come in every day then this may not be for you. We were there for 3 nights and...

"We set out looking for a large house close to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown that would house our group of 9 family style. This house fit our needs and was more than comfortable. It’s near all the major tourist stops (I highly recommend every stop in the Historic Triangle). "The cottage is a treasure and the island is beautiful. Wonderful views of herons and other wildlife always outside the back windows! Our family of six (including four teenage boys) stayed comfortably at the house. It felt like borrowing a friend's well-stocked vacation home. Plenty of kitchen gear and dishes for cooking (which we used several nights). Things to consider: to access the Gloucester Point area, you must cross a draw bridge. "Our son flew in from Nashville and our daughter flew in from Pittsburgh to meet us in Norfolk. This property is in Hampton just minutes from Buckroe Beach. It’s a great beach with lifeguards on duty till 6:00. This is the nicest house in the neighborhood and was just perfect for us. "

"I made two bookings, very easy but one canceled abruptly and the second turned out to be a non-available property and I did not find out until an before check-in. I was credited 100 for my trouble.
