Panoramic Chalet Above the Sea of Fog

Entire chalet above Grabs with sweeping views of the Rhine Valley and, on many days, a sea of fog. Sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms. New kitchen, new bathroom with rain shower, balcony and dining area, grill, combination stove, Starlink Wi-Fi, workspace with printer, and 11-kW charging station. A crib, high chair, books, and toys are provided. Parking and self-check-in via a key box.

The Accommodation
The Nebelmeer Chalet is quietly situated on the Grabserberg and is exclusively at your disposal throughout your stay. From the balcony, the new seating area, and various rooms, you can enjoy sweeping views across the Rhine Valley. On many days, the valley is shrouded in an impressive sea of fog.

The chalet can accommodate up to five guests:

• Upstairs bedroom with a double bed
• large bedroom on the lower level with two single beds
• small bedroom on the lower level with a single bed, desk, and printer

The new kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster, and Nespresso machine. Nespresso capsules and a small selection of coffee and tea supplies are provided.

The new bathroom features a rain shower. The floors and windows have also been replaced. In the living and dining area, wood and the chalet-style decor create a cozy atmosphere.

A cozy combination stove can be heated with either pellets or wood.

Outside, you’ll find a new seating area with a dining table, a balcony with a particularly beautiful view, a grill, the garden, and the adjacent meadow. The garden is filled with flowers that attract butterflies in the summer.

For families, a crib, high chair, books for all ages, coloring books, and indoor and outdoor toys are available.

Starlink provides fast and reliable Wi-Fi. The small bedroom features a workspace with a printer. This makes the chalet ideal for workations and business travelers with appointments in Buchs or Liechtenstein.

A portable air conditioner can be used in one room if needed. The house does not have central air conditioning.

Guest Access
You’ll have exclusive use of the entire chalet, the balcony, the patio, and the garden—with no other guests.

There is a private parking space on the property. Up to two additional vehicles can be parked directly on the street in front of the house, provided the driveway remains clear.

An 11-kW charging station for electric cars is available right at the chalet. Charging costs are billed based on usage.

Check-in is self-service via a key box. This means you can arrive as late as you like in the evening, starting at 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m.

Additional Important Information
The chalet is located in the midst of a mountainous landscape dominated by agriculture. Depending on the season, cows may be grazing in the surrounding meadows. Farm work, tractors, and occasionally the spreading of manure are part of country life and may occasionally be audible or noticeable by smell.

Due to its natural setting, insects or other small animals may be present around the chalet and, on rare occasions, inside the house. Despite careful cleaning, this cannot be completely avoided in a house surrounded by nature.

In winter, winter tires are required to access the property. Please drive with extra caution at dusk and in the dark, as wild animals are regularly on the move in the area.

There is no bus stop directly at the chalet, so we recommend traveling by car. During the snow-free months, traveling by motorcycle is also a viable option. Pets are not allowed. The chalet is a smoke-free property; smoking is permitted on the balcony and in the outdoor areas.
