"The room was very clean. Nothing fancy, bit functional. "

"Very nice owners and clean room. No bugs, no roaches. None. The only bad thing is the pet fee. Staying here a week and they charge $30 a day for two cats. That gets expensive! Our room does not at all smell like cats. My wife got a small mop from the store and mops twice a day to keep everything very clean. We believe it is important to leave a room cleaner than when ypu came. A few other things that were undesirable was some homeless guy running back and fourth on the sidewalk next to the motel...

"My daughter and I have stayed here for an extended time, and I will definitely say that the staff is very friendly. Helpful with all your needs, and always on top of all request. To me this is home away from home. Very peaceful and clean. I would definitely recommend The Econo Lodge on Lackland the best place we've stayed thus far "
