  • Lovely Pocono retreat located on Larsen Lake within the Big Bass Lake Community (BBLC). Spacious living room with panoramic lake views, vaulted ceilings with skylights and stone fireplace. Sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 bedrooms with 2 baths. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Wrap-around deck (with separate screened-in porch area) overlooks private sandy beach with dock. Firewood is included. Free Wifi.
    Pets are welcome for an additional fee of $20/night per pet or $100/week per pet.

    Please check our Availability Calendar for availability information.

    You MUST be at least 25 to enter into an agreement.
    Linens & Towels are not provided. You may bring your own or rent via Pocono Linens. Use Discount Code "JOSEPH" to receive a 10% discount.

Our warm weekend on a chilly day

We enjoyed our stay so much!! It felt like our own family home was waiting for us- the fireplace made us feel warm and cozy after our hanging out by the lake-we loved being there! Can’t wait to go back! Great hosts!

The cabin was spacious and could easily accommodate a large family. Kitchen was functional with all the necessities to prepare and serve guests. Deck and fire pit made it possible to enjoy the wonderful lake and surrounding woods. Cabin and walkways are not handicapped accessible for walkers or wheelchairs but can be negotiated with a cane. Still....a wonderful place!

A Beautiful Peaceful Week

We loved the house and the boats. It is so peaceful. You really can not swim in the Lake, it is to shallow, but great for boating and there were plenty of boats. There are so many board games too!. All in all a great week for our family.

The house was great!!! It was clean and the kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and utensils. The outdoor firepit was awesome with plenty of comfortable seating and an abundance of good firewood. We appreciated the lake access for paddleboarding and enjoyed sitting on the dock bench viewing the lake. We also enjoyed the game choices provided in the house since rained one of the days we were there. Thank you for sharing your house onnthe lake!!!

Gouldsboro Stay

Family Vacation

Nice secluded location. Lots of privacy. The community has a lot of amenities and activities to do. Our family enjoyed fishing and going on the lake for kayak and canoe paddles. Short drive to Lake Wallenpaupack.

Our family has stayed here both summer and winter and it is a fabulous vacation rental. There was plenty of room for the entire family as well as a variety of activities to keep us and our two kids busy. Skiing, golf, hiking, biking and shopping are just some of the many things we have enjoyed during our visits. We highly recommend it.

The lake was very scenic. Fishing was great. All catch and release but we caught perch, crappies, large mouth, sunnies and pickerel. House was awesome.

We enjoyed our stay at this house enormously. We have now stayed both in summer and winter, and have enjoyed both times equally. The house is large, very comfortable, and has everything you need. For summer it has a great beach and excellent equipment for the water. For winter it has a nice fireplace, and indoor activities like games and a foosball table.

Had a great time. We all loved boats and fishing from the dock. Morning coffee on the deck with a view of the lake was great. We were there in a heat wave, and the house had no A/C. The interior is a little dated, and the pots and pans are not too good. About a 10-minute drive to the pool, not included with the house.

Charming house on a pristine lake

We specifically wanted a lakefront to enjoy the views and water activities, and this property certainly did not disappoint. The house is situated just few steps from the water where you’d find a small sandy beach and a large dock. The house is very clean and well maintained with all the amenities that we needed. The owners are very friendly and responsive. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely consider this property again in the future!

Perfect Lake Getaway with Great Amenities

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! The property offered everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We especially enjoyed the variety of boats that were provided — they added so much fun to our time on the water. The dock was great for fishing and got plenty of use during our stay.The house itself was spacious and comfortable, with more than enough room for everyone to spread out. Evenings by the fire pit were a perfect way to unwind, and the quiet neighborhood made for a peaceful and restful atmosphere. We also really appreciated the deck and grill setup — great for outdoor meals and enjoying the view.The only suggestion we have is to trim up the beach area and horseshoe pit a bit to make them more usable, but overall, everything else was fantastic. We would definitely come back!

Great Vacation Spot

The house was as advertised. Very clean and has everything you need. Loved that there was a washer and dryer. Well stocked kitchen utensils. Owner did a great job communicating ahead of trip. We had a wonderful stay at the Christel family’s cabin. They were very responsive, and we had no issues at all during our visit. The directions were clear and accurate, which made arrival easy. The home was very clean, and the beds were comfortable.The layout was perfect for our two families. It gave my family and my brother’s family the chance to come together and start the year relaxing in front of the fireplace. Having a separate living room for our teenage sons was a huge plus. They brought their PlayStation and had a great time on their own while the adults enjoyed the main space.The fireplace was a highlight and made the cabin feel extremely cozy. The couches were also very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. Camelback is about a half-hour drive away, and we were able to go skiing during our stay. It was very snowy when we visited, which was beautiful and felt almost dreamy, though the lake was frozen so we did not use the lake activities.Overall, this is a very traditional cabin with a warm, cozy feel. We highly recommend it and would happily stay again.

Cozy, quiet, and relaxing

We had a wonderful time! The property was perfect for relaxing. The kids loved taking the kayak out and fishing from the dock. The dogs loved swimming in the lake. Maybe think about getting a 2nd kayak as that was the most popular boat by far. We enjoyed fires by the lake on several nights. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet place to unwind. Gouldsboro is centrally located in the Poconos so it's easy to get to other attractions as well.

Wonderful Lakeside Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay at this lakeside house. We loved using the canoe and kayak for morning and evening rides on the lake. The sunsets were beautiful. We caught fish everyday. We enjoyed watching the ducks and we saw deer everyday around the house. The house had everything we needed as we cooked many meals during the week. Close proximity to good restaurants and hiking at the Water gap. Will definitely return severalmeals.duringweek.

Lake Life

Lovely house on peaceful Larson Lake. Super clean. Canoe, kayak, and rowboat were great. Caught a few fish. Made smores at the firepit. Road miles on our bikes. House is as advertised: rustic with modern amenities. Joe was an excellent host.
