"There's a pretty view of the lake from the back of the cabin. The inside of the cabin is nicely setup and clean. The outside needs a little work. That does not keep us from giving a 5 start review. There's a lovely little dock with chairs setup by the lake. There is lots of shops and things to do and see in the surrounding area. The people in the community are friendly and welcoming. The hot tub was nice for cooler evenings. We can't wait to come back. "

"The house is really lovely! We enjoyed staying there so much and the owners were so accommodating and friendly! Staying there reminded me of staying at my grandma and grandpas farmhouse when i was a little girl. Its so special my kids could have a taste of those types of experience like climbing up those stairs, the secret nooks and catching lightning bugs in the evening. It was a perfect location for us too! We hope we can stay here again sometime!"

"Quiet, clean and cozy place. Perfect for our girls’ getaway! Owners were very friendly, responsive and great communication. This is a rural area, so you have to drive to get to the towns in the area but all within 15 minutes. The 2nd bathroom shower is small, but clean and nice. The cottage has AC units in each room, but we liked having separate temperatures for each area. We would definitely stay again!"

"We had the best stay in the lake house on Big Chapman Lake! Spacious but still small enough for close family time. The house was very clean and well kept. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of blankets/pillows to go around. The sectional in the great room was perfect for family movie nights. We loved turning the A/C off to open the sliding glass doors allowing the cool Indiana air to come in. Most of the time we were there it was rainy, but the games in the garage kept us entertained. "A perfect place for R&R! The cozy cottage offered everything we needed to soak up family time on the lake and enjoy some meals together on the deck and fun around the campfire. "We enjoyed our family vacation at this cute little cottage right on the lake. There were beautiful sunsets and shallow water perfect for our kids to enjoy. There are plenty of places to eat in the area, they also provide kitchen necessities if you wanted to cook at the cottage. Great communication from the hosts and everything went perfect! Thank you!!
