"We loved this charming house on the river! We attended a family reunion in the area and it was a wonderful location and so lovely to be near the running river and take a dip in the refreshing water. My only recommendation would be to add in the initial listing that there is a caretaker on property. That isn't listed on the listing and I didn't know about it until the check in instructions came. "Lovely home next to lake. Many hiking/lake spots within a reasonable drive. Lovely small waterfall along the driveway. Very close to rail trail. Walk to fishing spot as well as good fishing in nearby lakes. As noted in the property description,on/in the lake activities during the summer months are limited by plant growth in the lake. Spent sometime watching the birds on the lake. Dog friendly. Would stay here again."

"Perfect for our needs- only 3 minutes from wedding venue down the street. The property was very clean, beautifully decorated, had plenty of parking, all sorts of games and the pool table kept everyone entertained. Also had the biggest tv in the living room I have ever seen!! We hope to stay there again in the future. The host was great, and the Amherst area is beautiful! "

"We can’t say enough about how nice our stay was. The pictures don’t do this cabin justice it’s a fantastic place to stay and a great area that’s tucked away but only a few minutes to nearby towns. I’m from the area and wasn’t familiar with this part of the area. It’s very beautiful and did not disappoint. We look forward to returning to the cabin in the future. "

"Lovely house with great access to the water. It was very clean. Location was peaceful and quiet, but not too far from grocery stores, etc. Not really ideal for anyone with small dogs (like me), because they don't want pets on the furniture and the fence has large gaps. Otherwise, it was wonderful."

"Gorgeous property with lake access! The owner, Rich, is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. It’s on a private street with almost no traffic, and it’s mostly very quiet.There are several steps to get down to the private dock, so keep in mind that you will have to go back up the stairs. It’s worth it! The lake is pristine!We loved sitting on the front porch, watching the hummingbirds at the feeder. The front garden is beautiful.This might be a “me” issue of not fully reading the property...
