"To start, the drain pipe on the front of the hotel was on the ground. Great sign of how the rooms are maintained (they're not). We walk in the front door at about 10pm and see another couple who had been waiting for a clerk to check them in for 15 minutes. One of them went behind the counter in the back room trying to find an employee. "The only reason I booked this hotel was the pool. Fast forward to check in and the pool isn’t “functioning”. Mind you we stared at a running pool with clear water all week but a chain on the gate. I immediately asked to be able to use the pool from the same chain right down the street and was told no. So I took it up the chain to Holiday Inn Customer Care who said a ticket was started and someone would be in touch with options/resolution within 24hrs. Never heard another word. Needless to...
