Beautiful view, watch the sunset, easy access to Perkins Pond in the front yard, pine needle carpet - bring your crocks or Googone to get the sap off the bottom of your feet. We had a wonderfully peaceful girls' weekend and can't wait to do it again!"

"What a great little oasis in the woods & great place to reset from the day in and day out! Sheryl & Phil were great Hosts! Cabin was clean, well situated and all expectations were met, with eco friendliness in mind. With the attention to detail, history of construction and renters guide, you're sure to enjoy the great outdoors in a quite, remote location. Looking forward to a return visit, during more favorable weather to enjoy all Crescent Moon Cabin has to offer!"

"My husband and I were very pleased with the quiet and clean cabin. The weather was great for the month of May. We loved the screened in porch and the fact that we had kayaks to use right on the property. The only drawback was that you had to go to the sandbar for swimming as the cove was a bit marshy. We would definitely consider coming again."

"This property was as described. We enjoyed the outdoor seating on the porch with Baptist Pond just steps away. Appreciated the cooling fans in the living room and bedrooms, which did not get too hot during our summer stay. We didn't use the kayak or paddleboat, but one of us did swim in the pond for exercise. We also enjoyed breakfast and dinners out in nearby New London (good restaurants there!). Overall, a comfortable spot for friends to relax and connect."

"We wanted a very quiet, private house to celebrate Easter with my daughter. This was the perfect place.... This cabin sits on 250 acres of a private estate. The pond, hiking trails, a covered bridge, and an old stone structure just added to the appeal. Our chocolate Lab had a blast exploring. We drove only once to the grocery store for all our food supplies. The stores are a bit farther than expected. There is a large fully equipped kitchen to make all of our meals, including a prime rib...
