"What a perfect lake front cottage! This cottage was super clean, and stocked with all of the basic needs (paper towels, TP, bath/beach towels etc). The outdoor deck was great for grilling with stunning sunset views and the lakeside deck/dock was great for quiet morning reading and perfect for the jet skis we rented, and fishing. all the beds were super comfortable- confirmed by teenage boys! "Historic and charming home in a most interesting setting-- the community was a former military fort and barracks. Chat with neighbors on the front porch or watch wildlife and hang out in the backyard picnic tables. Comfortable beds and two full baths makes it good for group of 4-6 people. The golf cart is a godsend but there are bicycles and kayaks for land and water exploration. We didn't make it to the lovely looking pool or rec center for gym/bowling but they look like lots of fun. "Stayed here in June ‘25 with my wife and son and this place was great for the three of us. Location next to the beach is great and close enough you can walk to the pier by the beach or through town. Place was very clean, staff very helpful, perfect little sized kitchen to make some quick small meals if you’d like. Would stay again."
