"This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views."

"We had a fantastic stay in Louise's gorgeous cottage. Beautifully decorated, luxury bedding, comfy beds and just 5 mins from centre of York. Check in was easy and Louise allowed us a later checkout which tied in nicely with our train home. We have all agreed that we would love to come back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage to others coming to York."

"We stayed now on two occasions on our journeys north & south to Scotland. The bungalow is easily accessible not too far from the A1 & there are good convenience facilities just off the A1 roundabout less than 4 miles from Austerfield. The bungalow is furnished to a high standard with comfortable sofas & excellent beds & bedding. The location is in a secure park with intriguing deer statues in several places. Well recommended for short or long stays."

"Very helpful and friendly owners, great location for visiting our new granddaughter. 2 mins walk to lovely Pearsons park. Some lovely welcoming items, lots of fresh fruit, bread, butter, milk and cake all vegan as owners are, a couple of things i would suggest is maybe a door curtain could be put in place as there was no privacy going from the bathroom across the kitchen to the bedroom also there was no smoke alarm present. All in all a nice stay 👍 "

Communication was prompt, the cottage was immaculate when we arrived and fully equipped, and the village of Burythorpe was beautiful! Highly recommend popping into the pub across the street as it was lovely. Gemma also provided several great recommendations in the guest book and we are sad that we couldn’t get to everything in our weekend stay! Would definitely come back, thanks Gemma!"

I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. "Fantastic location near train station and lots of bars/restaurants and shops. Check in efficient and friendly. Apartment very clean and spacious, with everything you would need. Only criticism is the rooms (including the bathroom) have very subdued lighting, which is lovely, other than you can’t see to get made up/do your hair etc. one bright light in front of a mirror would be really useful. Also not their fault but several large bottle bins are emptied in the early hours of the morning...

"The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Good size apartment, great for overnight business stay. Good location and lots of places to eat nearby. Car parks are close too so not too inconvenient, but they are expensive for long stay."
