"The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion. "Nice clean, cheap and quiet room to stay the night whilst travelling. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a couple minor issues (not the fault of the hotel in any way) which were resolved quickly and easily by the staff. The bathroom in my room was excellent. "The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."
