"Ich war ein paar Tage in diesem Hotel und insgesamt wirklich zufrieden. Schon beim Ankommen wurde ich freundlich begrüßt, und das zog sich durch den ganzen Aufenthalt. Das Personal wirkt nicht nur höflich, sondern wirklich interessiert daran, dass man sich wohlfühlt. Mein Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sauber. Nichts Übertriebenes, aber genau das, was man sich wünscht: ordentlich, gemütlich und ohne irgendwelche Macken. Der Wellnessbereich war für mich ein echter Pluspunkt. Sauna und Pool...

"The surroundings are maybe not what you expect from an idyllic establishment, nevertheless our stay was more than pleasant and we did feel very welcome. The hotel is near Kaldenkirchen’s train station and the usual grocery stores, the city’s centre is on walking distance. The amenities were more than you’ll expect from a two star hotel, free drinks including beer, coffee and soda’s. We stayed here on transit to the Ruhrgebied, and experienced plenty of room for us and our bicycles."

"Een mooie, rustige locatie maar dichtbij het dorp. Prachtige entree via het slot. 's avonds laat nog buiten bediening op het terras. Mooie, sfeervolle kamer en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet."

"Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Ein- und Auschecken verlief schnell und reibungslos. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war das Essen im Restaurant. Es war nicht gut – es sah zwar schick aus, aber einiges davon war von sehr geringer Qualität und überteuert."

"Older property with added bedrooms and dining area, room was very large as was the bathroom. Good breakfast and restaurant meal. Small downside was no proper glasses or cups in the room, only disposable items, would have expected better in a classy hotel. Overall though it was very good and a good stop between channel ferries and Keil."

"Gorgeous setting in a quaint, small walkable town. We were given (what I consider) the best room available with the best view of the river. Lots of riverboat activity. Beautiful sunsets. Good food."

"The staff at the hotel were amazing. The Hotel was very clean and tidy, located in a very central area. The room was smaller than I thought it would be but was very comfortable. Shower in the room was a bit strange but manageable. From a personal point of view, sharing toilets with other guests is not ideal."
