"We had a lovely relaxing trip. Our main focus was hiking but due to a heatwave we had to switch to early morning walks and more relaxing. It was cooler in the evening and the hot tub was the perfect place to star gaze. The screened in porch was great for breakfast. Space is limited for gourmet meals but simple meals are very doable. The listing does note the bed is in the loft and you have to climb to it. This is true, but I’m a mobile 50 year old and was able to do it easily. My only negative...

"We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again. The property is clean and comfortable with lots of animals and very friendly cats. The host is very responsive. However, this is not a hideaway. It is a cozy apartment on the end of a three-bay garage and you hear people when they are working in the garage. Don't let that stop you from booking. It's a great place!"

"Our family of 4 fit perfectly here. We had everything we needed and the host was so nice and responsive. We fished off the dock for a little catch and release, our youngest son loved it. Very quiet and secluded. Just what we were looking for."

"This cottage was the perfect retreat. It’s in a beautiful location, easy to get out and explore the local hiking trails. The outdoor patio and hot tub were amazing at night, very peaceful and quiet. Communication and instructions with the host were clear. We would definitely stay here again!"
