"The postcard cabin we rented was everything we needed for a rustic Michigan getaway, but not too rustic, it was so nice to get out of the heat in the AC! They even thought of our dog as there was an outdoor leash provided for the dog’s outdoor time. Having the firewood on site was so convenient as well! Hot showers, a toilet, comfy beds… we will definitely be returning! The private lake was the perfect place to cool off and chill too😎 I think they may have thought of everything needed!"

"The house was beautiful ! The indoor pool was a big hit and so much room ! Everyone had plenty of sleeping space and large kitchen with table big enough for all of us . It couldn’t have been more perfect! It will be a wonderful family memory !"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time in South Haven. This 1 bedroom cottage was perfect and the cheese and wine upon arrival were much appreciated! "This was our 2nd time staying here. The cabin is rustic but it is clean and had the basics we needed for a weekend getaway. It did the trick in helping us unwind from the hubbub of life and get back to experiencing the simple things in life. "I think a lot of the negative reviews are unwarranted. It was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us (plus dogs). The house is old and you need to use the window AC units, but it was fine and stayed cool all day. The prices are 1/2 that of other properties in the area. The house is a few minutes away from the beach. It is a duplex, but we never had an issue with the neighbors. The only bathroom is on the top level and up a flight of steep steps. It may not good for elderly people or people...

"We had the best family vacation at the Parkside Beach House!!! Julia was always quick to respond so check-in went smoothly. We made a lot of memories in the kitchen as we cooked and ate together. The only thing that we did not find was a crockpot but there were so many other dishes, pots and pans that we no longer needed one.The house was as spacious as described and comfortably fit all of our family's ages. We would definitely come back!"
