"The room was very basic and the carpet had lots of hair on it . The staff werenvery polite and helpful but the breakfast was very disappointing for a continental ..no toast !!!"

"Our second stay at the hotel, this time in the standard pitch view room- previous stay was in the penthouse room. View in the standard room was great, room modernised and clean. Downside was how bright the room was at night. Lights cultivating the pitch illuminated the room, the curtains did not cover the glow which made for a awful nights sleep. Our penthouse stay was much better, comfier bed/bedding, darker room with light creeping through the curtains. Breakfast on this occasion was also...

"Had a lovely stay, room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff were nice and the breakfast was good. Some cooked food was not available but we had a late breakfast, that was my only quibble. Thanks."

"Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. There was an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. We had breakfast and it was excellent. Plenty of choice from continental to full English. Basically all you could eat. The service was excellent. Couldnt do enough for you. Would stay again."

"The hotel was well located to the centre of town and the main railway station. The staff were excellent and very accommodation with baggage storage and a room change we had to make. Unfortunately one of their guests on Jan 20th smoked Marijuana and the ground stairs lobby and lift stank of the smoke. Shame because of this i could only give them 3 stars."
