Gîte de Chapelèche "Les Genêts"

The Chapelèche gite "Les genêts" can accommodate up to 7 people. Located on a southern slope of the Ardèche, 700 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Monts d'Ardèche, it overlooks the Glueyre valley, where you can swim, in "swimming pools" natural carved in granite. Magnificent view from the gîte.
Access to Chapelèche is via a tarmac, one-way, dead-end municipal road: calm and tranquility are guaranteed, away from all road traffic.
The cottage has a bathroom with sink, bathtub and WC and 3 bedrooms:
- 1st level bedroom, 4 people: a double bed (140 x 200) on the ground floor and a double bed (140 x 200) on the mezzanine (accessible for children over 6 years old). This room has a WC and a toilet.
- 3rd level bedroom, 2 people: two single beds that can be put together (80 x 200 and 90 x 200).
- 3rd level bedroom, 2 people: a double bed (140 X 200).

The living room has a library / games corner, a sofa bed, a 2-seater sofa bed, a stove, 2 armchairs, chairs and table.
The cottage also has an FM radio and a monitor (30 x 25 cm screen) for playing CDs and DVDs. Unlimited Internet access nearby.
Beautiful hikes from the gîte itself.
Possibility of grilling outside: outdoor barbecue integrated into a terrace wall (wood provided).
Large outdoor terrace facing south, on one level with living room and kitchen. This terrace is partially shaded by an ash and hazelnut trees, and has a garden furniture (tables, chairs, deckchairs).
Many excursion possibilities: Mont Gerbier de Joncs (20 kms), Ray Pic waterfall (20 kms), the Ardèche gorges (60 kms), ..
Other activities for young people: Aquarock Aventure in Saint Sauveur de Montagut (ropes above the Eyrieux valley - see website: canoe Kayak on the Eyrieux river, horse, mountain bike, etc ...
At the end of your stay, if you do not wish to clean, a cleaning fee of 50 Euros will be payable on site.
The cost of the stay of an animal (cat or dog) for a week is 50 Euros (to be paid on site, at the end of your stay).
If you want us to operate the central heating with wood (daily supply provided by us), the cost is 10 Euros per day of heating (to be paid on site, at the end of your stay).
A rental contract will be sent: it will contain the detailed description of the gîte, the rental conditions, a map and a route to the hamlet, advice for your stay and tourist information with links.
The house is rented by the week, all year round.
