The holiday home includes 3 bikes, one with a bicycle basket, for use by the holiday guests. 

Polchow - an old fishing village picturesquely situated at the Jasmunder Bodden in the heart of Rügen. Here, right on the water, in the middle of the sunset and nature, very quiet, with no through traffic, you will find the holiday home 'Schwedenhaus' and our two apartments, on the edge of the village. The house offers ample space for 6 people, equipped with carport for at least 2 cars, terrace with sitting area, garden to play and run around, access from there directly to the bay. The two holiday apartments are right next to each other, adjacent to the garden: the 'Apartment Bodden' overlooking the water and 'Apartment Garden', located directly behind it inland, each with its own terrace and seating. Each apartment is ideal for up to 2 people, a third bed is in the living room through pull-out sofa bed.  From your domicile you can start your walks through the nature reserve, past the Bodden, direction Glowe and the Schaabe. For a short cooling, walk along the village road about 200m and reach the mini beach next to a small playground. At one of the small harbors, z. As the Martinshafen, you can excellently start a small boat or fishing trip - think of an extra portion of fish for grilling in the garden. Those who prefer to eat can order regional fish specialties and other specialties in one of the local restaurants in Polchow. For self-catering Sagard, just 8 minutes drive away, several supermarkets and shops, of course, bakers.   If you travel with children: only 5 minutes by car (3km away) is a visit to the dinosaur country Rügen a highlight and the Icelandic horse farm Wittower Heide (also 5 minutes by car). Excursions to the chalk coast, to Binz, Sellin or Cape Arkona give you the most different impressions of a diverse island. Enjoy the view from the promenade or the jetty of the beach resorts to the sea, admire the architecture and stop in one of the cafes to lick an ice cream or taste Rügener buckthorn juice. A special day trip to the nearby island Hiddensee - just park the car in Schaprode, translate by ferry and enjoy the day by the sea. Or, if you would like to take a detour, down from the island, to the old Hanseatic town of Stralsund, you will find many sights and listed buildings in the historic old town (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2002).
