Beautiful Georgian Farmhouse Country Escape

We welcome you to stay in our beautiful country home, a beautiful Georgian farmhouse dating back to 1840, lovingly restored to a wonderfully comfortable and characterful country retreat in the Gloucestershire countryside.

Set in the peaceful village of Tirley, our farmhouse offers plenty of space for families and groups to relax, reconnect and enjoy time together. The house retains plenty of its original charm while offering all the modern comforts you would hope for!

The heart of the home is the stunning open plan kitchen and dining area, perfect for preparing and enjoying meals together looking out over the gardens, while the separate dining room provides an elegant space for longer dinners and celebrations. There is also a piano in the dining room for anyone feeling musical during their stay!

The house has a beautiful sitting room for grown up conversations, with a play room just next door, making this the perfect space for families.

There are five bedrooms in the main house, including four comfortable double bedrooms, and a twin room, ideal for families and friends travelling together.

For even more flexibility, we have our separate annexe (The Little House) providing private additional space with its own living room, kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom, making it ideal for grandparents, couples, older children or anyone in your group who would appreciate a little extra independence or a downstairs bedroom, while still being close to the main house.

Outside, the peaceful rural setting makes the home a wonderful base for enjoying the Gloucestershire countryside or relaxing together. Whether you are planning long walks, cycling through the surrounding lanes, or want to stay in and enjoy the pizza oven and BBQ, our location offers a lovely balance of countryside tranquillity and easy access to some amazing areas.

For those looking to stay active during their stay, we also have a great little gym with yoga equipment, weights and Peloton machines - free to use for anyone with an account.

There are some fantastic places to eat and drink nearby. The Butchers Arms in Eldersfield is a particular favourite, offering exceptional, Michelin-standard food and is well worth booking in advance. The Inn at Welland is another excellent choice and is a little further away, but absolutely worth the drive. For something more relaxed, we even have The Cake Shed in Eldersfield, which is a wonderfully charming little cake shed filled with homemade treats!

This home is made for spending quality time together, so whether you are gathering with family, enjoying a countryside escape with friends or looking for a peaceful base from which to explore the area, we hope you will feel completely at home here.

Please note that there are two ponds in the garden without fencing, so we do ask that children are observed at all times when outside.

Please note: You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the booking verification. You will also be given the choice between paying a fully refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver, which would protect you up to £300 of accidental damage during your stay.
