The Space:
On a 169-acre working farm and campground in Glenwood, Hidden Camp’s Loft House by Tiny Away feels like a pocket-sized retreat with the widest horizons. Just 30 minutes from Gympie, the setting offers rural life with easy access to Bauple State Forest, the Gympie Gold Mining and Historical Museum, the Woodworks Museum, and the coastal town of Tin Can Bay.
From mornings filled with birdsong to evenings under wide country skies, it’s a unique stay where the simplicity of small-space living meets the expanse of the Australian countryside.
This cozy 170-square-foot tiny home features a lofted queen-sized bed and a convertible single bed couch on the ground floor. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities, including a cassette toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers). The tiny home features stairs that provide easy access to the loft; however, guests are advised to use extra care when going up and down.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a second tiny house on the property. If you're booking for a group, we also have "Hidden Camp’s Tiny House," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the tiny house and the outdoor space surrounding it. You’re welcome to explore the property, but please avoid the sheds as they are still under construction.

Hidden Camp’s Loft House by Tiny Away is set in the locality of Glenwood, a rural area shaped by farmland, forest, and a friendly country community. Just 30 minutes from the city of Gympie, the location offers both quiet surroundings and access to regional highlights.
Food and drink spots nearby include the historic Theebine Hotel, Sublime Farm & Brewery, and M1 Bakery & Cafe for a quick stop. The nearby town of Gunalda is the go-to for groceries and everyday needs.
Outdoors, Bauple State Forest offers walking tracks and local wildlife. Gympie adds cultural depth with the Gympie Gold Mining and Historical Museum and the Woodworks Museum. For a coastal day trip, Tin Can Bay delivers calm waters and the chance to spot dolphins. Leggets Lane places you in the heart of Glenwood’s farm country with plenty of nature, history, and local flavors within easy reach.
Getting Around:
By car:
- Accessible with a 2WD vehicle.
By public transport:
- The nearest option is Gunalda, where buses connect to surrounding towns and Gympie.
- From there, a car is recommended to reach the property.
By flight:
- The closest major airport is Sunshine Coast Airport (about 1.5–2 hours by car).
- Brisbane Airport is another option, roughly a 2.5–3 hour drive.
- Car hire is available at both airports for convenient onward travel.

- WiFi is available in some areas of the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- We’re a working campground and farm with plenty of animals around. As we’re completely off-grid, we kindly ask that you use water and power sparingly.
