"Needed an easy in and out overnighter for a paddling trip on the Tuckasegee River. This was perfect and convenient to so many places. The host was very responsive to any questions and made sure the cabin was cool and comfortable upon arrival. Very clean, well maintained and a well equipped kitchen."

"Our stay in this cozy moutain home was perfect. The mountaun view is breath taking from the porch and the house is well stocked with everything you could need from; cooking, games, tvs, comfortable furninure, and laundry. The drive up the moutain is an adventure and confirms that you truly found a place to get away from everyday life and enjoy nature. The host does an excellent job of keeping in touch with you and is very responsive if you need any assistance. We loved spending time here."

"Loved having the coffee and filters available. Thank you for that important feature. The purple body wash smelled delicious. Foam mattress pads made sleeping quite comfortable. Communication with Robert was ongoing with quick responses. The decor was in keeping with a mountain/bear theme. The location made our treks to hiking trailheads quick and easy. Clear instructions. "We enjoyed our weekend away at Pop's Peak. The cabin was beautiful, clean and we enjoyed it with our grandbaby. Willam was always super responsive and helpful when I had questions. It was just so peaceful there and exactly what we needed for a weekend away!! We would definitely return!"

"Cabin is contemporary, safe, and has a fantastic view. Internet is minimal but the owner made that clear in the listing. Verizon gets great reception (T-Mobile not so much) there so maybe get a hotspot if necessary (unlimited for $50/mo). The only risk seems to be the road if there is inclement weather. We were able to navigate it fine because we were careful (and it was dry) but there is a trench in the road (diagonally across) that could certainly cause problems. The rest of the road has...

"Very clean, updated cabins. We had two of the two bedroom one bath cottages. Well stocked with amenities. We are in town and spent the rest of the time on the back porch watching the rain sitting by the propane fires. Less than 10 minutes from Brevard. Thinking of making this our new stop on the way to dropping the kids at camp. Only reason for 4 stars on location is the proximity to hwy 64. It was a little loud but most of the time the creek drowned out the sound."
