"Ms. Pat was so wonderful and even left us a few goodies in the frig! The cabin was beautiful with its display of her husband’s artwork; he is very talented. We loved seeing the animals and a woodpecker even visited. Great little vacation!"

"Everything was amazing! Definitely a nice little getaway from city living. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating and not overwhelming as we have had at other places. The range of activities that are offered was nice. My husband and I enjoyed axe throwing and petting the horses and dogs! We do not live too far and hope to come back to take a ride on the horses, fish a little, and checkout some of the trails! 10/10, would do again!"

"The host was kind and thoughtful. Because of the big snowstorm, we had to extend our stay while our house was being finished. No problems! We had a lovely stay! I loved waking up to Cocoa Puff grazing right outside our door. I enjoyed watching the other llamas munching their hay twice a day outside the window. Beautiful views. I want to return when the weather is warm and we can explore the property and watch the llamas outside on the spacious deck. "

"The Hillside Hideaway was exactly what we hoped for: clean, comfortable, quiet, close to shopping and restaurants and a safe environment for our nine-year old pup Lucy. We stayed four nights during a mild weather period, and we made the most of the trails and parks in the area. My husband and I are in our seventies -- we live an hour way from Johnson City and we enjoy mini-vacations that don't require long-distance travel. This spot was perfect for us!"
