"This beautiful historical house is located so close to downtown Gladewater we walked to shop and even walked to Skippers pier which was amazing. The attention to all the thoughtful details that made us feel like we were truly staying in an old historical home, made it such an enjoyable stay. "House was very clean and enjoyable to stay in. I’ve stayed here twice and definitely prefer this over any hotel around. House has good WiFi and at one point there was a power outage but the home is equipped with an automatic generator that kicked on immediately so i didn’t have to suffer. John is an awesome host and responds quickly if there are any issues. I definitely look forward to booking again. I definitely recommend this stay for family and friends!"
