"Great location for the celebration we were attending. Lovely host really friendly. A fab stay"

"From the very start of our stay to then end we could not fault The Dolphin in anyway shape or form. The room was beautifully decorated as well as the bathroom and had everything you would need. The restaurant for evening meal as well has breakfast was incredible, the freshness of food was really good quality and fresh ingredients. "This is an excellent small boutique B&B. Full of charm and character. Very well maintained and clean. Owners kept themselves to themselves other than the welcome. Lovely breakfast. Very organised. Would definitely stay again so would recommend to others."

"We were only there one night and didn’t eat there in the evening but breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious with excellent open plan bathroom facilities. Pleasant walk into Sidmouth ( approx 3.5 ) miles round trip Ticked all the boxes for what we needed. Would stay again"

"Staff were very helpful. Hotel was clean and tidy. Great breakfast 🙂🙂"

"Nice location and property"

"Lovely old building, beautifully clean and comfortable. Steve and Fiona were very welcoming and kind. Also, they cooked a mean breakfast from a varied menu. It was delicious. The only downside was the lack of parking outside The Bakehouse. It proved to be very difficult but the upside was that approx 60 yards away was a Car Park for only £3.30 for 24 hours! Highly recommend The Bakehouse if you are planning a visit to East Devon."

"Friendly small hotel. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was really good too."

"A reminder that you don’t get a lot for your money these days. Twin room - cheap narrow beds, very noisy plumbing system in the room and from other rooms, noisy outside, tiny shower. Included breakfast not worth mentioning."

"Superb duplex room 20! Great restaurant and bar"

"Excellent Harbour Group Hotel"

"The room was tidy and clean but a little tired in places , possibly due to a busy season. Breakfast was excellent , food in the bar was very good and prices were competitive . The ambience in the bar was good. The quiz was good fun. Excellent nights sleep . Overall very good"

"Very good place with dinner and breakfast available. We paid too much via Expedia"

"Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Will stay again when down there next."
