"loved the retro vibe and all the cozy touches like candles everywhere and fireplace logs. Well equipped with coffee, tea, alpaca throw, etc. We could just sit in the living room if it was too windy outside and admire the sea, the huge tides and sometimes the mountains"

"This is a lovely cottage with lots of amenities including very convenient laundry facilities. It was too cold, rainy and windy to really enjoy the waterfront location but would like to return in nicer weather. Our only problem was getting the TV to work properly but Sylvia tried her best to help with that."

"A perfect oasis during our three day family vacation. Super nice hosts. Spacious, bright, and comfortable with everything we needed and more. Quiet and private and perfect temperature in the house even when it was hot out. Check out the talented artists‘ creations of glass, wood, visual arts, and products from their abundant gardens."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was super clean and has a full kitchen. We enjoyed the private seating area and the walk to the beach is short and easy. A great place."

"Fantastic location with a private beach. We were lucky enough to see Bald Eagle, Orcas, Otters and seals all from a sun lounger! Sea clean and is safe to swim or use the kayaks. Owner is friendly and helpful. Great place to stay!"

"Man oh man. If you ever had trouble winding down stay here. The ocean waves at night put you asleep better than a sound tape! This place is exactly as advertised and then some. The atmosphere brought me back to the seventies."

"Very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable. Well kitted out with appliances, cultlery and everything you might need. Parking on site for one vehicle, so if you are comfortable parking 2nd vehicle on the street, then it works well. Also not amenable to electric vehicles as there was no exterior outlet for charging an all electric. We loved the wood stove, which was very cozy and warm. I also particularly loved the character of the home with old fir floors. Very close to Shelter...
