Breakwater Gig Harbor

A luxurious waterfront accommodation. Great for romantic getaways. Comfortable and luxurious, centrally located in a small fishing town with a variety of activities. Exquisite dining, shopping, gondola tours on the Puget Sound, and private fishing charters.

•Access through waterfront commercial building lobby. Self-entry via coded doors.
•Apartment has an open studio Floorplan. Living room has comfortable couch, TV and record player. Lots of books and games. Bedroom with California King bed overlooking the water. Privacy blinds.
Ample closet space.
•Kitchenette is equipped with countertop convection oven and dual induction countertop burner. Small under counter fridge. All necessary cookware and settings for 4.
•Dining room with 4-person table with sliding door overlooking the Harbor.
•Beautiful modern bathroom with large shower, toiletries provided.
•Private access to deck overlooking Harbor with views of Mt Rainier.

Access space via coded lobby door.
There are no stairs to access Breakwater Gig Harbor. Upon entering building, Breakwaters second access door is immediately in front of you.
Codes will be provided prior to arrival.
Entire Suite is unshared, as well as a private back deck overlooking the Harbor. Dock is currently under renovation.

The Waterfront district has it all. Fine food, waterfront activities, groceries, public transportation and an EV charging station.
Our building is in a commercial location. Hustling and bustling during the day. Quiet and serene during the night.
Our office is located in the basement of the building and occupied weekdays during normal business hours. Though check-in is contact free, and I keep to myself unless you need something.
Main lobby houses a small art studio and storage for neighboring restaurant. The restaurant is open from 7am to 2 pm, they are very active in the mornings.

Free public parking and an EV slow charge station. Between 3:00PM- 9:00AM parking along the street is ample. There is only one HV Accessible parking spot within 20 feet of the front door.
Public transport and a seasonal trolley pickup are located 200 ft from the front door.
Sidewalks are busy with foot traffic during the day.

Space is not safety equipped for babies and toddlers.
This is not a party space. Max 2/person occupancy with acceptations on an individual basis.
With the understanding that this space is not suitable for children and infants, if you are found to have a child/ren or infant/s onsite:
1. You may be asked to vacate immediately without refund
2. Will not hold property owner liable for accident and/or injury that may occur.
Guest negligence will not be tolerated.

License to occupy space is granted from the start of Airbnb reservation until Commencement. If at any point during your stay you wish to extend your trip, please use Airbnb App or website for reservation.

Early Check-In and Late Check-out is on an as available basis. Unless arrangements have been made through Airbnb or directly with management, Check-in time is 3:00 PM, Check-out is 11:00AM

No Smoking, No illegal substances
Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction from the property. You, and any approved guest or visitor agree that any drug use, using the property for unlawful purpose, or violation of any law or local ordinance will be grounds for immediate eviction from the property. You will be liable for any and all costs incurred by host and a refund will not be provided for the remainder of your stay.
Evidence of smoking and or illegal drug use will result in an additional cleaning fee of $149

Service Pets
Allowed with the understanding our property does not have a yard.
Your responsibility to your pet and our community is to ensure you are capable of walking to the nearby park and picking up waste left behind by your pet.
Your suite is accessed through a public lobby, and as such, you will pass by other people occasionally when entering and exiting building.
Ensuring your pet is well behaved and on leash at all times is your responsibility. Owner assumes liability of any incidents that occur by and to their pet during their stay at Breakwater.

Occupied Space
For use by party reserving through Airbnb. Maximum 2 People.
No additional overnight guests.
A violation of this rule will result in a $100 charge per person or immediate removal from property without refund.

Breakwater Gig Harbor is a boutique style Suite in a commercial building. Our neighborhood is a mix of residential and commercial business'. We ask that you respect the neighborhood by keeping noise levels to a minimum between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

We had a fantastic stay. The bed was comfy. We walked to several great restaurants. We had plenty of room and comfortable furniture. Our host was very helpful with questions during our stay. Parking was never an issue, although I could imagine it's more of a challenge in the summer. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Truly the best view and location in Gig Harbor from this stunning property. We enjoyed watching harbor seals on the dock and kayakers while drinking our morning coffee. Great location for walking to restaurants, shopping, or jogging around the Harbor. And the unit itself was perfection - clean, stylish and luxurious. We hope to return!

This Property is Top Notch! It’s Beautiful, very Clean. The view was Amazing. Serene & relaxing. No problems with communication. Fantastic stay. Only downfall was the parking. No guaranteed spot. But found a spot across the street.

Great Location
You cannot ask for a better location. Property has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Gig Harbor. You can walk easily to great restaurants, coffee shop and market. The communication with Megan was simple and timely. We would definitely return when just the two of us are in town!

Beautiful Suite in an amazing location!
Spent our 25th anniversary at the Breakwater and it did not disappoint. The suite was absolutely darling and the deck was our favorite place to sit and take in the water view. It was nestled among a few great restaurants (which we dined at often) and at the same time the suite felt very private. Both Megan (host) and Hayley(owner) were attentive and contact with them was a breeze. The only complaint was lack of a designated parking spot. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. Definitely recommend The Breakwater for a romantic getaway or even just a solo trip. Thank you for sharing your suite...we will be back!!

Perfect weekend
My husband and I stayed in this sweet little apartment while visiting friends. Check in was a breeze, location was perfect and the rental was immaculate. The set up of the apartment was great, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and good seating options inside and out. The view of the harbor, with Mt.Rainer in the distance, was spectacular. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing!

Gig Harbor gem
This Gig Harbor condo is a gem. Location is A-1. The condo's floor plan is terrific. It feels so much bigger than 900 square feet (photos don't do it justice and the photos are fine). Beautifully appointed. Wonderful outside deck that sits harbor side flows as part of the inside amenities. Street parking not a problem. Several good restaurants are a stone's throw away and the rest of Gig Harbor is a short and pleasant stroll away. I golfed every day at Chambers Bay (an easy 15- to 20-minute drive) and we love Point Defiance, a fantastic must-visit Tacoma city park (zoo, historic fort, beach and amazing trails amid giant ferns and forest that is another easy 20-minute drive). We also visited the nearby state park and county park near the Narrows bridge. All of these locations offer so many pleasant and varied looks right on Puget Sound. My restaurant recommendations are Anthony's right next door (splurge on King Salmon), Moreso, Puerto Vallarta (for Mexican), Millville Pizza Co. (casual), Hy lu Hee Hee (pub fare), and Netshed No. 9 (for breakfast/brunch). So many more options but not enough days. OK, just one negative, which was easily resolved. The half-size refrigerator's freezer is not big enough for ice (I like a lot of ice). The easy solution was buying a bag of ice across the street at finholm's grocery. Put it on the top shelf of the refrigerator and it did not melt in three days (not a single drop). The condo is a great place for relaxing, playing and exploring.
