"Would 100% recommend this hotel. Convenient location only a couple of mins walk from the ferry port but also far enough that it feels calm and secluded. Views from the rooms and restaurant/breakfast area are amazing, overlooking the sea. The whole place is very clean and well maintained. Staff are universally lovely and helpful! "abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti. l'hotel è in una stupenda posizione, locale storico, sala ristorante panoramica, circondata da un bel giardino. La navetta gratuita all'arrivo ed alla partenza nonchè per andare la sera a giglio porto e durante il giorno alle spiagge è il valore aggiunto. La stanza piccolina, ma pulita. "We went to Isola del Giglio on our honeymoon. The moment we arrived to Hotel L’Arenella we were amazed. The location is beyond incredible, just a short walk from the nearest beach. Everyone was so nice to us: Daniela, Lucas, all the staff. The restaurant is top notch and the view over the sea from the rooms is astonishing. Highly recommended!"

"A truly unique experience! The amount of works that Mario and Paola have put in to give a new life for this 1883 light house and to share with other travelers are simply remarkable. Also, everything has to be brought in from outside through parts non paved rocky road with a jeep in order to cover guests’ needs, the intention is more than running a business but much larger than life. I’m truly grateful to have this experience at Faro da Paola e Mario!!! "
