Day 5 - Ghangaria to Joshimath 15 kilometers on foot again but much easier as it was all downward. The path was same as Day 2 but surprisingly, I found this smaller version of Valley on the way. Day 4 As per the plan, we had to go to Hemkunth Sahib, but half of the group decided to stay back. Everyone had their own reasons - mine included fatigue, unwillingness to climb straight for 3 kilometers, and even more reluctance to cover the distance on a horse. Strangely, the tour operators were as disinterested as they could be. They didn't bother about why or when people are going or staying back. Feeling a bit disappointed with myself, even though I knew I made the right decision, I went for a small walk in search of solitude.
