Super comfy place! It had everything we needed. Plenty of dishes, cookware, appliances, reg coffee maker and a keurig and coffee! The s'mores bar was so cute! A fire pit which we didn't get a chance to use. Beds were comfy. TONS of movies and books. Loved the luggage racks in every bedroom! The place was super clean. The AC worked great. I was a bit worried, as they accept pets but smelled terrific! Very private setting. I would 100% recommend this place for a fun getaway, girls trip or whatever you want. We only messaged Veronica once or twice, but she was on it. Never waited for an answer.Thank you for sharing your getaway, we really had fun.

This peaceful cottage was perfect for our stay. The place was impeccably clean on our arrival, well supplied, and everything worked perfectly. It's an older house but had been thoroughly remodeled and redecorated inside. There were great outdoor gathering places including a fire pit area and a deck with a gas grill and several seating areas (and the hosts even left s'mores ingredients and dry firewood in the house!). The rain kept us from using these, but they were a nice touch. Two things in the "know before you go" category... The road to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock was still closed from hurricane Helene years ago, so it was actually quicker for us to go back to the arboretum in Asheville to hike than either of these planned destinations. Secondly, the final approach road to the house is short but very steep and loose gravel in spots. Our Prius made it (largely because we had years of practice on our similar construction driveway), but we probably would have brought our 4WD had we known. Neither issue dampened our beautiful, absolutely peaceful and restful stay in this terrific place and we'd go back!
