"The apartment is large and clean and well appointed. Elevator access. Location is in a small square across the river from the old town. Not in the old town as indicated on the VRBO map. Just a few minutes walk across the old bridge to the church and the market. Limited parking in Bilbao. I used the train station - expensive, and dodgey. The immediate area up from San Fransisko street is a bit dodgey. Exercise caution when passing through this area."

"It was easy to get into the flow of from this location, just a few blocks from the art museum, as well as modes of transportation. There was an elevator, which were very well for us a seniors. And it was only up one floor if we chose to climb the stairs."

"Location was fantastic - a short walk to everything (short walk to the Guggenheim, Casco Viejo and the funicular, and all the restaurants and shops). Couldn't have asked for a better location. Host Begona was extremely responsive and helpful. Checking in was very easy - keys were available.
