This property had everything as listed and was true to the photos and descriptions. We had a fantastic stay enjoying the space and time by the lake. The kitchen was well stocked, better than any rental property our group has been to, which was a huge help when preparing big meals and during clean up. The host was very helpful in lead up to the trip and had an exceptionally fast response time whenever we had questions.

This listing was exactly as pictured. The home was spotless and plenty of room to accommodate a large group. The outdoor spaces were incredible as well. The home had everything you need and the host had great communication. I’d recommend this listing and I hope to be back one day!

The cottage was as described, exceptionally clean, fully stocked (we truly just came with clothes food and drink). The location is great, on the lake and near all the stores you might need. The kayaks were fun, the hottub was clean, plenty of fridge space and rooms for everyone. Dylan was great, always responding within minutes to any inquiries and checking in throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. The only slight bummer was the area of lake the cottage is located had a water advisory due to high e-coli bacteria, this is not the hosts fault at all and he even kept track of the advisories to let us know when it had ended. There are a large number of geese that frequent the area and property (again no fault of the host but we did have to do large poop cleanups!). It really felt like a home away from home, the large space let myself and my family plus our parents siblings and their children all vacation under the same roof, which was a first for us and priceless in terms of memories made. The added touches of linens, towels, coffee, tea, spices, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc really gave it that resort type vibe. The kids loved the games room, the books, the firepit was also a nightly hit. If we plan another whole extended family vacation in the next year or two we will very likely rebook this property as it is money well spent! The sunsets are truly magical.

Perfect setting to make memories with family!

We stayed here with 15 family members to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. It did not disappoint! From the moment you walk in the door and see straight through the sunroom windows to the beautiful view of the lake, you realize you are in special place. The house is spacious and immaculate. Just when you think you’ve seen everything, there is more! Not to mention the well kept back yard with jacuzzi and your own private dock. I got so many compliments on finding this amazing place. I would not hesitate to stay here again! And a special thanks to Dylan for being so attentive to any of our needs. He is an amazing host!

Ice fishing group

There 8 adult men in my group. We stayed 4 nights. We had a lot of gear since we were ice fishing. I asked each of them if they were happy with the accommodations. Each replied "yes." It suited this big group very nicely. All said they'd stay here again if we come back to fish. Very nice, big place!

Great time

We go away yearly a large group of ladies (11 this time) our NEED and must have is a big enough table for us all to sit at to play our cards, dice and any other game we choose, this had that. Property management was there for any beck and call which is always great, very prompt with a response which was greatly appreciated. Clean property, didn't really get to enjoy the outdoors as it was raining whole time there, close to town if you need anything which is nice. Lots of room for everyone, HUGE tv in the main room which was nice to watch the World Series game, I'd highly recommend to anyone. We didn't have a need for anything, the ONLY thing I'd say was the "games room" is in the garage off the house and was freezing, Ethan did provide us as to where a space heater was (two of them) in the basement which we tried but it didn't overly warm it up too much and it was so heavy we ended up leaving it there instead of moving it back down again. I'd suggest if keeping the games room there to maybe get a standing fake fireplace for some extra heat in there, we'd of spent more time in there if could have, but we had lots of other stuff going to regardless.

Excellent Location for Family Holiday

The cottage is spacious, clean, well-equipped and attractive. There was plenty of eating, sleeping and sitting room for our family of 11. The outdoor area is comfortable. We spent most of our time in the water, on the lily pad, kayaking, sitting on the dock, in the hot tub, relaxing in the shaded sitting area and chatting around the lighted fire pit. Thanks Ethan for being attentive and pleasant.

Beautiful Lakefront property!

Beautiful lakefront property. The yard and dock were beautifully maintained. Tons of indoor and outdoor space, fully stocked household (towels, kitchen goods). A great space for a quiet family vacation. Neighborhood was very quiet, peaceful, relaxing. Highly recommend!

Awesome Time!

We had a fantastic time staying at the house in the lake! Plenty of space for ten people. Kids had the basement to themselves and were in heaven. Fished, had bonfires and enjoyed the hot tub. Rented a pontoon and jet skis from a local establishment right down the street.

Spacious, lovely getaway.

This lovely home on the water was perfect for our family getaway. When we arrived, we found the house spotless. All of us found the beds were very comfortable, and the linens were fresh and new. We had a wonderful time celebrating a few birthdays and cooking some wonderful meals together. Our 90 year old mother gave up her secret recipe and showed us how to make her famous gnocchi. It was a very relaxing weekend. The fire place was so cozy. We also enjoyed some competition in the games room and managed to complete a 1000 piece puzzle. The temperatures outdoors were still mild enough for a few walks and the geese had our attention being so close to the shore line. The sunsets were beautiful! Thanks for having us!

A Lovely Vacation Spot

The property was lovely, inside and out. The home was thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The owner had a closet full of fresh white towels for our use and another closet with extra pillows and cozy blankets for extra warmth. The kitchen was outfitted with all one could need. Outside the gazebo provided lovely shade and muskoka chairs both on the dock and by the fire pit were plentiful. We loved the kayaks and paddle board and the lake was lovely. We had a wonderful family vacation and hope to return in the future. Thankyou Ethan for providing such a pleasurable spot!

Amazing cottage

We were a large group and most of us live in Toronto so it was very convenient that the cottage was close proximity. The host (Ethan) was great, he was prompt and detailed with with his responses and his instructions were clear. The cottage was clean and even though we were a large group, there were plenty of space for all of us. We went on a very hot and humid weekend and the water was refreshing. Sunset by the dock was astonishing. Overall we had a great time.

Beautiful Memories

Three generations of our family just enjoyed a wonderful small family reunion week at this beautiful, comfortable property. Ethan was a wonderful, attentive host. We didn't have a rice cooker and he purchased a new one for our use at the property and later mailed us a jacket we discovered we had left at the house! He has supplied the house with everything you could need, including plenty of towels, cleaning supplies, life jackets, coffee, you name it. The house is truly very comfortable with beautiful views, comfortable beds, great spots to relax indoors and out, so much to do and see on the water. The kids had a wonderful time running around behind the house and on the dock, jumping into the lake, and learning how to kayak. We had a lovely time watching the birds, the sun rise, and the sunsets. The different rooms gave us different options for sleeping arrangements as well. This was the cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. We great appreciated it as our toddler goes around barefoot and touches everything. We felt very secure in how thoroughly clean everything was. There were no hidden dusty or dirty spots. It was absolutely sparkling clean! Ethan was fantastic at communicating and takes so much pride in his property. There were so many things to do at the property for all ages. Wifi was great, TV was perfect, and there were games and toys for the kids. Beautiful, comfortable property. I highly recommend!

Family vacation

The property is beautiful and house too. Lots of things for the kids to do. Hot tub is advertised but there isn't one. Overall it was a great time except for being asked to keep our voices down after 11. We were only talking at fire. I understand people live there, but we were on vacation and were not roudy and did not play music at night.

Relaxing stay on the lake

We spent most of the time off property golfing or at the Canadian Open golf tourney but the time on property was very relaxing. The water pressure is great. The beds are great. We used the breakfast nook daily with the great view. We took in the sunset and used the big screen TV for some sports events. It is a very enjoyable lake cottage. Thank you!

A stay of perfection.

Myself, along with 11 others stayed at this gorgeous home on the lake for new years weekend. In person the place out did the pictures by a long shot. Everything Was kept clean, Ethan was quick to respond to any needs and made the entire process feel welcoming and easy with no stress.
