"Had a really nice couple of nights, room was spacious, clean and ideal for a family. Staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly, courteous and helpful, credit to the resort and management. Breakfast had enough for everyone and a good selection of cooked and continental. We had one evening meal in the restaurant, couldn't fault the food or the service and very reasonably priced, we even stayed for the quiz! Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend and will hopefully visit...

"What a gorgeous house in a beautiful area, well run by a lovely couple. We had a wonderful stay; this little gem is tucked away on a quiet hillside spot, with breathtaking views of the coast and on the doorstep of lovely walks, and just a few minutes walk to the towns of Lynton & Lynmouth. Our room was lovely; warm, clean and spacious, a pretty and comfortable bed, soft bedding and nice pillows with a great sea view. "There is nothing you could complain about. The beds are lovely, nice pillows and very cloud like duvet. Perfectly clean and comfortable room. Our dogs were welcome in their pet-friendly rooms and even given a sausage breakfast to their delight. We’ve eaten here many times. The roast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Always the same high standard. This is the vacation “local” pub that you wish your village had. And so reasonably priced for the service and quality. "

"This shepherd's hut is in a very remote area. Some difficulty traversing the narrow country roads to get there. The view was lovely and the host friendly and accomodating. The bed was high and we, in our mid seventies, had to assist each other in and out each time. All in all, despite the wet, windy weather, we had a sheperd's hut experience which we could not have in Canada. I think it would have been a nice area to enjoy in warmer, more pleasant weather."
