"Overall we had a great stay at Governors Village. The room was clean and comfortable. Our only wants were an ice maker in freezer or at least some ice trays and an in room safe would be nice. We also were told at check in that the Cafe was open on the weekends for dinner but tried both nights and it was closed. There were walkable places nearby so not a huge deal. The beach was close and wonderful. We bought a chair and umbrella at Cost U Less next door for the week. We will definitely stay here...

"My sister and I spent a few days at this location to celebrate my birthday. The host was perfectly accommodating and responsive, and check in was a breeze. The location is nearby a great grocery store (Foster's), across from a liquor store, close to an Island Specialty (Heritage Kitchen), and walkable to my favorite beach on the island, Cemetery Beach. Our host was so lovely and offered to hold our room an additional night due to inclement weather back at home. I can't wait to return!"
