"The exterior was in good shape, but the room was dirty and in serious need of a major upgrade. The desk was designed more to prevent robbery and the clerk had only fair command of English. I shared to room with at least one roach. I paid for two nights but one was enough and I left. The location is only close to I65 and nothing else. I had read that the motel had recently been rehabilitated -- but if so apparently they skipped my room."

"This hotel was very scary. As a singlewoman who travels alone. I was very scared. The lobby was nice but the hotel is very outdated and dusty. When i walked into the room I pulled the cutains back and the curtains smelled like smoke and sweat. It was so dusty I couldnt stop coughing.
The only saving grace is that the bed were comfortable. And the bathrooms were renovated but the rooms look horrible. Staff was extremely kind and nice. But I wouldnt stay here again. Needs major renovatins"

"There is a quaint meeting area that has chairs and a fire place when you first walk in. The room was extremely clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. I suffer from back pain, but this is the first time sleeping at a hotel where my back didn’t hurt the next day. The free buffet breakfast was also good. Very friendly staff. Close to amenities in Madison and Huntsville as well as The airport. Highly recommend."
