"Fabulous hotel, perfect from check in to check out. Big thank you to the girls in the spa, the receptionist with the long curly hair and the 2 girls who did our massages who didn’t make us feel uncomfortable when we got a case of the severe giggles and couldn’t hold it together! This was a much needed break for me and my daughter after a lot of recent sadness and that memory will stay with us forever, so thank you ! It made our weekend. "I found the staff very friendly and helpful. On my first night the weather was awful and sadly the room had a few leaks. I informed the staff the next morning to make them aware. Water damage is not good. They immediately asked if my suitcase was ok and asked if I needed anything drying. They then proceeded to move me to a lovely big room, which was lovely and very spacious 😀"

"We stayed in the family apartment which was a bedroom downstairs, a bedroom upstairs, a bathroom with shower and we had a small corner kitchen that had everything you could need. In a beautiful area, so quiet and peaceful, loved the scenery. Great communication off the owners and a warm welcome. Would recommend and would stay again"

"Lovely hotel in quiet location overlooking the estuary. Fab bathroom with large tub. Excellent view from my room. Lovely breakfast with great choice of food. It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. "

"Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."
