Gladioli I Central Geelong Cottage I Sleeps 6

Summary:
Gladioli is situated in the heart of East Geelong. Only mins drive or 10min walk to the Geelong waterfront and CBD. Surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Street parking out the front or can park in the rear yard during busy times. The property is fully furnished including fully equipped kitchen and Wi-Fi. Large secure rear yard and pet friendly. This property is perfectly suited to a small family or couples getaway.

The Space:
On offer is the entire cottage home not shared by any other guests/owner. The cottage is charming and welcoming with its original features but has also been updated with fresh paint, carpets and bathroom in recent years.

There are 3 bedrooms; main bedroom (Queen), second bedroom (Queen), third bedroom (Two singles in form of a bunk). All linen and towels provided. Please make sure to confirm total number of guests so correct amount of linen is provided.

The bedrooms are serviced by a central bathroom where you can enjoy a long soak in the large free-standing tub. The laundry sits by its side and is equipped with washer and dryer and seperate toilet.

The rear yard is secure and offers plenty of space for activities including racket ball.
There is a double gate which allows for a car to be parked within the rear yard should you wish.

The coffee maker is a De'Longhi Coffee machine which is compatible with any Nespresso Original Pods. Please Note: Pods are not provided, you will need to bring your own.

BBQ No Longer Available Currently.

Getting Around:
Public transport is readily available and you can reach everything within waling distance including a local IGA and Fruit market.

Quaint Cottage,but.....

The cottage was in a great area close to shops and cafes.The bathroom, laundry and kitchen were great. The floors could do with some sealing of holes, the outside of the house could do with some repair work and painting. the same with the outdoor decks. I'm not sure how legal or safe the deadlocks only on the external doors go, but they were annoying that you couldn't just close the doors.

Comfortable and clean in a hreat location

Family of 4 plus grandparent really enjoyed our stay here. House was clean and tidy. Excellent location right next to two great cafes and town. Communication with host was really quick and resposive

We really liked the location and local village that the property was situated in. Conveniently located — not far from CBD and water. Plenty of space in the home. We didn’t appreciate the leaking washing machine tap (needing to empty buckets of water throughout the day) and didn’t like to door locks (probably time to upgrade to deadlocks). A little overpriced for quality of the property.

Overall a very good location for us - close to our resident family. Nice older suburb.House old and worn but that was expected. Cleaning utensils somewhat lacking - vacum cleaner and brooms old and ratty and not really suitable for purpose. Bathroom fine. Thanks for making our stay easy.

Great location

Great location! Quick walk/drive to the beach, cafes, restaurants & shops. The street is a bustle of activity with the cafes & shops in the area but it quietens down at COB.Three spacious and comfie bedrooms/beds. Bathroom lovely. Kitchen amenities fine although we had to be vigilant with food due to ants. The aircon did not work well and I had to report it to property manager. Fortunately the weather was quite mild.The lounge only has a 2 seater couch and 2 seats which isn't ideal for a house that sleeps 6.

Great Location in East Geelong

We loved the location close to the Geelong CBD and fantastic cafes/shops in the Street. The property was good and what we expected including being a great house for our toy poodle. What we didn't enjoy was the extremely loud music from a Venue at the top of the street. Even ear plugs didn't help and we ended up leaving a night early from the property.

good location

Not able to park outside permit only. Came in two cars we came from Adelaide my son and two teenage grandchildren can from Canberra. Parked in middle parking on road. Needed to move inssence burners and candles out side I tend to wheeze (allergy reaction), but put them back before we left. Over all great place. Would recommend and stay again. This is the second time I am submitting this !

It’s not the biggest property but it’s so comfy and clean and close to most things and not far to dr

I have been able to unwind here and not stress about anything, the few things that need doing are being done, the bedrooms and bedding are clean and have enough of them and the beds and soft but just right for me, I have my companion dog with me and she was able to get to me when she needed to go out plus she is so clean that she tells me where to do the pick up’s so to have the place clean for the next people. I would give this place 10 out of 10 very relaxing stay.
