Guest access
You will have private access to the entire home during your stay minus the 2 owner's closets. You will receive a code to the lockbox several days before your arrival.

Other things to note
Like many homes in the region, our home does not have full coverage for A/C. There is only a portable A/C unit in the living room. Summers in Northern Michigan are typically mild, but we provide portable fans for your comfort. We also encourage guests to open the windows to enjoy the fresh air and enhance circulation as needed.

The property uses well water. Depending on the season – particularly when hot – the water may have a sulfur smell. This is common in the area, and it is perfectly safe to use and drink the water. We provide a Brita water pitcher for your convenience as well.
Due to septic tank limitations, there is no in-unit washer and dryer. If needed, there is a laundromat about 10 minutes away.

The living room fireplace is inoperable and cannot be used.

The property is located in a quiet, secluded community. We kindly ask that there are no parties, events, or loud noises. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00pm to 8:00am.
The property is located in a wooded area, so you may encounter bugs, reptiles, and furry critters of all sizes (including but not limited to rodents, squirrels, and deer). While we have regularly scheduled pest control, we cannot guarantee that these critters won’t be visible in and around the property. Please keep doors closed and avoid leaving food outside to prevent unwanted critters. Additionally, please refrain from feeding any wildlife. Refunds will not be provided if a local critter visits the property.
