Beautiful 2 Bedroom Cabin No Steep Roads Some Mountain View Large Yard

The location of our Mountain Memories cabin is incredible & in close proximity to
all the activities the Smoky Mountains has to offer.
A spacious, 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin situated directly between Pigeon Forge
& Townsend, in beautiful and peaceful Wears Valley.
Make your Great Smoky Mountain getaway at Mountain Memories when you stay in
this cozy cabin.
The open concept spacious main floor has a fully equipped kitchen that overlooks
the dining and family rooms, with a 2-seat breakfast bar, a 6-seat, dining room
table, and a highchair for the little one.
The cozy family room has a flat screen TV w/DVD, stereo and free WIFI, and
blankets to snuggle up on the couch by the fireplace as well as a foosball table for
fun times.
There is a roomy Queen master suite down the hall from the kitchen, with a flat
screen TV, and bathroom with shower, whirlpool tub and stacked washer and
dryer.
Upstairs features a small loft game area with board games and card games for your
enjoyment!
Another roomy queen master suite with a flat screen TV, a private bathroom with
tub/shower combo and a private Romeo deck off the bedroom.

Outside, enjoy the large yard, great for the kids to play games and explore while you cook for the family on the gas grill or the charcoal grill. The large wrap around porch has a relaxing Hot Tub, Ping Pong Table and plenty of seating to enjoy your morning coffee in the peaceful Smoky Mountains.

In the summer, our guests enjoy free access to a seasonal community pool at Honeysuckle Meadows (open May to October) and the catch and release pond (no license required), which are located just off Wears Valley Rd and Happy Hollow Rd, approximately 4 miles from Mountain Memories cabin.

You’ll enjoy easy access to the cabin, no mountain roads, all paved, with plenty of room for parking cars and trailers. The cabin also features city water, new HVAC, and new water heater. You will also find several restaurants and grocery stores close to the cabin so you don't have to go far when you have had a busy day.

This lovely cabin is an ideal home away from home for your Smoky Mountain

Our host just asked us to text when we arrived, we did with no reply. Cabin was nice but very creaky floors and hard to sleep in bottom bedroom with anyone in bedroom above, you can hear every move. All pans in kitchen are old with all non stick coating peeling away. Again, cabin itself is very pretty but would not rent again with it being hard to sleep with anyone upstairs.
Nice big back yard with fire pit, grill, corn hole.

We left a day early. I actually wasn’t going to do a review I privately messaged the owner but no response. The blinds in several ears as were torn and didn’t fit the window, the fans I believe were not dusted at all this year, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Tried sleeping on the couch the couch is older which wouldn’t be an issue except you could feel the bars underneath . The code to the door is always the same which is worrisome because I assume workers and everyone have it and anyone who has stayed there before. Extremely disappointed in the stay. I will say the area is beautiful and easy to get to. I also sent pictures to the owner to show all of this and can post if needed. Again there was no response.

Enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable. Loved the wrap around porch. Hot tub was warm and clean. Kitchen had everything you might need. Jacuzzi tub was nice. Our only issue was the cable under ground had went bad and no WiFi or tv for a day or two. But that was no fault of the owner. Sent them a message and they were right on it to get it repaired and kept us updated thru the process and followed up when complete. Would definitely stay again. Nice area, neighbors close but no problems.

Cabin was as described. It was well stocked with towels, was clean and pretty much met all our needs. It was definitely easier to get to than our last cabin we stayed at. The cabin is located in a neighborhood which I didn’t realize at the time of the booking but overall this cabin was great for our stay!

This Cabin was in a perfect spot! Such a beautiful area! The driver there is not anything compared to a lot of the cabins that are “built into the mountain.” There is plenty of space here the kids to play in the yard, a fire pit, gas or charcoal grill, Bags, beautifully maintained. Hot tub on the 360 wrap around porch with plenty of privacy. Wrap around has plenty of seating from a swing, to a larger card table, to rockers. It’s all here. I will say I did agree that meeting the owners as a must seemed a little weird and gave me some anxiety as this wasn’t something I had in the itinerary and we had planned to arrive late with our long drive. We met with the owners on our second day and I will say they were so kind. They leave their story in the book for you and it’s beautiful. They could not have been more accommodating. One thing we got seeing was we brought way too much! The kitchen was stocked extremely well for use. Nice toaster, Electric Can Opener, Blender, sheet pans, cake pans, sugar, flour, condiments, Kuerig, 12 Cup Coffee maker, creamer, mixing bowls, grilling utensils, ect ect. Fridge and Freezer were very large and new appliance along with rest. House, although minimally, was thoughtfully decorated. Cabin stayed cool extremely well. We dont do heat well and the cabin stayed at 65 perfectly fine the whole trip. All TVs had Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, and all the other apps as well as cable. WiFi worked perfectly with TVs and all devices. I didn’t test it but was fast

We loved our stay at Mountain Memories

We really enjoyed our stay at Mountain Memories. The hosts were very nice and responsive. I loved that it’s in a quiet neighborhood which was nice to come back to after busy days. The hot tub was one of my favorite features. It was so nice to relax in after walking around all day. Very clean. The full wrap around porch and swing were lovely country touches. The cabin was so cozy. It felt very clean and smelled like cabin but in a good way. Think knotty pine/campfire. It had everything we needed from linens, dinnerware, lots of space and comfy couches and beds. The thermostat had no problem keeping up with the extreme hot weather. We’ve had issues with this in the past with other rentals but no problem whatsoever here. We loved the foosball and ping pong tables. They had games and puzzles although we didn’t end up having time to play. We used the bbq for making burgers one night which was such nice option to have. The tv with lots of cable options was nice for my kiddo in the evenings for some down time. I don’t really have anything negative to say about this cabin. The price was amazing for the accommodations it provides. We were there for a dance competition so we had a bunch of costumes and clothes for 3 people for 9 days so closet space was a bit tight since a few of the closets were used for what I assume was storing cleaning items. For the normal vacationer, there would be no issue. The washer and dryer were a huge plus. We were able to wash pool towels and bathing suits

Dollywood Vacation

Great cabin, very clean, well stocked kitchen for cooking. We really enjoyed the amenities. Our girls loved playing the games provided, the foosball table was a hit! A short 10 minute drive to the pool/pond.

Home away from home

Instantly felt at home in this well built cabin. Spacious living and eating area for six, simply decorated and clean. Great location within short distance to attractions and the national park. Beautiful wrap-around deck. Only suggestion to hosts is regularly clean up bird droppings and manage the several bird nests. Our van broke down and the hosts graciously left us stay another day. Skip the tourist traps (except Titanic Museum;a must see) and enjoy the national park. Rent a UTV and tour Cades Cove. Mountain Memories is highly recommended by this PA family!!

Beautiful Mountain Memories

We absolutely loved our stay at Mountain Memories. We were in town for a baseball tournament and this was a great place to unwind after a long hot day. We enjoyed the ping pong table, foos ball, and corn hole and of course the hot tub. We utilized the nearby pool and appreciated being able to take a cool dip. The cabin was clean and so comfortable. We loved the spacious yard and lovely wrap around porch. We were very pleased to have a grill to use. The guidebook put together by Tommy and Linda is very useful and they are excellent hosts. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Our favorite property we have stayed at so far! The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly! We enjoyed the fire pit and the hottub. There was so much to do to keep our little ones entertained and they absolutely loved the pool right down the road. We plan to return for our next trip hopefully!

If you want a place to stay that has easy access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or Townsend and Cades Cove, look no further. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this cabin is perfect for small families and has nice amenities for a perfect vacation. The owners are very pleasant. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Nice Cabin

We’ve stayed at this cabin twice before I was pleased to see the leak to the downstairs bathroom had been fixed. Minor issue with lights by hot tub not working. They did say someone would fix, but it didn’t happen. I would like to see a more modern keypad for door so that number changed regularly
