Beyond excellent!! Applewood exceeded our expectations. Very well maintained, great equipped kitchen, grandkids loved the pool. Host was so friendly and very easy to work with. Will definitely be staying here again.

Great memories

Property was in a great location. Close to every thibg we wanted to do. The traffic was not bad and tge area was beautiful. We had a great time and look forward to going it again.

Father’s 90th Birthday

Let me start by saying the house is really pretty it sits on the hill and it’s very impressive when you drive up. There are two driveways one is steeper than the other. I called Sean because we got there around 3:05 PM and normally they don’t let you in till four. He was very nice and said he was five minutes away. Said if I don’t mind him stopping in to replace the filters he would let us in. Once we got everything unpacked and put away. We went down to the pool area. We opened the the pool that’s when we noticed the water looked green and there was foam on top of the pool we called Sean. Sean said the pool guy was there and he cleaned it and it should cycle itself through. The next morning. We looked at it again. It did not look good. The foam was worse and it didn’t look like water was filtering through the pipes, and the water was green. I called Sean had the pool guy come out he threw chlorine in it and backwashed it, and that’s when we noticed the water started cycling through the pipes. He told us not to use it for 24 hours so on our last day the pool was clean however we didn’t use it so that was a bummer. Nor did we use the hot tub. We did open it and the sides of the hot tub needed to be scrubbed. There was a film around it. That was disappointing. Rugs in den and bathrooms are worn and need to be replaced. For the price I was disappointed. However Sean was the highlight he was very friendly & helpful. We also loved that they let us bring our dogs.

70th birthday

The cabin was very nice and clean. The grandkids loved the pool! The pool was a good size for an indoor pool. Nice quite area. We could watch the fireworks from Dollywood from the cabin. We also enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. I would highly recommend this cabin. It has everything you need!

Beautiful cabin SO CLOSE to Dollywood

Cabin was beautiful and well maintained. We were planning a trip to Dollywood and could not have found a closer location. The front driveway is very steep, but there is a second drive that is more accessible. Would stay there again!

Applewood delicious!

Loved staying here. Views were beautiful on the wrap around deck. So comfortable and homey. Dollywood just around the corner. Slept like a rock and shower was very warm. Pool is awesome.

2024 Vacation

This was our second time at this location. We were happy to have been able to do an early checkin for a small additional fee. We love the location and how close everything is. We were able to communicate with Shaun related to any questions/address any issues. Would highly recommend, everything is close and staying-in is also great!

Received $100 off our 3 night stay. I’m not sure that satisfied not having TV or WiFi for our group who had poor cell signal and worked virtually while there. Dead bugs in bathtub. Spider webs throughout house. Driveway is super steep and parking is tight. Layout of house is nice. Pool area is nice.

Perfect for our family trip

Our family of 11, ages 18 months -60 years, spent a long weekend at Applewood Manor. The house was amazing. The game room was perfect for the older kids and adults. The pool area was spacious and the pool great. All 4 bedrooms had on suite baths and were spacious. The house is located near attractions as well as the National Park.

Despite the check in issues we had a great time In beautiful Smoky Mountains. Cabin is definitely beautiful in a close proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Beautiful Cabin Across From Dollywood

The cabin was perfect for our family vacation- loved it! Very peaceful, quiet area. It would have been nice if the hot tub and pool had been serviced and ready for use during our stay. The property manager was able to get the pool serviced, so we were able to use it our last 2 days. We would have contacted the manager sooner but their checkin email included disclaimers about the pool not being serviced on a schedule. We had a great time at the cabin

Beautiful Cabin!

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed the cabin! It was perfect for our family of 11. The location was perfect as well - just a couple minutes away from Dollywood. The check-in process was flawless. We will definitely consider renting this cabin again in the future.

Great family getaway!

Amazing Applewood Manor annual family vacation. .

Applewood Manor is a wonderful cabin with great amenities. We were in the lower level pool and hot tub every day . Great location to everything in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountain area 👍.

Summer 2023

The cabin was very easy to find and conveniently located. The location of the cabin made it easy to navigate to the local conveniences and attractions. The cabin was clean and we found everything we needed for the 4 nights that we stayed . This was our first time to the area and we really enjoyed ourselves. Because of the rainy weather at the time we visited ….The cabin added to our satisfaction of this area. …our kids enjoyed the amenities at the cabin …. Pool hot tub and game room! The gazebo with the gas grill was a plus as well. If available…. We will definitely try to rent this cabin again.
