Our cabin is located in the beautiful Chalet Village community, which features steep, winding mountain roads that are part of the authentic Smoky Mountain experience. During the winter months (approximately November through March), snow, ice, and freezing temperatures can make both the roads leading to the cabin and the driveway challenging to navigate.

For your safety and peace of mind, we strongly recommend traveling in a 4WD/AWD vehicle during this time. Two-wheel-drive vehicles may have difficulty accessing the property in winter weather, even with snow tires.

Please keep the following in mind:

● Mountain weather can change quickly, and road conditions may vary throughout the day.
● We recommend checking the local weather forecast before your trip and planning accordingly.
● We are unable to provide refunds or compensation for weather-related travel issues, road conditions, or vehicles that are unable to access the property due to inadequate traction or equipment.

By booking during the winter season, guests acknowledge these mountain driving conditions and agree to arrive in a properly equipped vehicle.

We want your stay to be safe, comfortable, and enjoyable, and being prepared for winter mountain driving will help ensure a smooth arrival.

●Bears are frequently seen around the property. Do not leave food, drinks, coolers, trash, or scented items in your vehicle, on the decks, or in the screened porch. Failure to follow these rules may result in guests being held responsible for any bear-related property damage caused by food attractants. Please enjoy wildlife from a safe distance and never feed or approach bears.
