Perfect Vacation

The house was perfect for our group vacation. Everyone liked their rooms and the girls had fun hanging out in the hot tub, relaxing and catching up. Mornings were beautiful starting our days with cups of coffee and a great view. The house had everything we needed to cook up big meals for our crew. Thank you, Kim G

Beautiful location!

This house was perfect for our large group of 13. Everyone had their own spaces. We also had wonderful gathering spaces and room for all! The view absolutely cannot be beat! Hated to leave!

Fantastic

50th birthday celebration for my husband. Us and 12 other friends met up here for the weekend. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with tons of plates, utensils, wine glasses, etc. plenty of parking. We enjoyed the fire pit every night. The views were spectacular.

Wonderful stay!

Fantastic property! The house was exactly as seen in the photos, and just lovely. Plenty of space, beautifully decorated and cozy at the same time. The views were the best part. Absolutely beautiful from each level of the house. We sat on the deck from morning to night taking in the beauty. Communication with the property manager was super speedy and everything from check in to check out was seamless. As another reviewer noted, the house does not include any spices, oils, coffee, even tinfoil. Not an issue if you know this before you go but definitely keep that in mind. Would have liked if there was a hairdryer in the house (they offered to loan us one from the office) but feel like that is something that should be included at a rental. Perfect stay and hope to come back yearly!!

Fantastic family stay!

We truly loved everything about our five day stay at The Lodge. We had tons of room, with the teens in the lower floor being able to stay up late and play pool, while the adults could hang out in the comfortable living room, on the porch with it's breathtaking view, or in the plenty of seating out by the firepit. We used the hot tub every night and it was clean and hot. We cooked our own dinners for the entire group, and the kitchen had plenty of plates, cups, pans, and silverware. (Be aware, it doesn't have some of those basic condiments such as salt or oil like some rentals have, but we knew this and brought our own. I just don't want you to be surprised!) King-sized beds were comfortable and had great sheets and blankets, the bathrooms were all great. Everything was super clean! Mountain Laurel Chalet had amazing communication, everything clear and easy for checking in and out. We will 100% come back to this house the next time we're in Gatlinburg.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For a large group (we had 13 including 1 very active toddler) We had ample sleeping and spreading out space. House was beyond our expectations. Trips to Gatlinburg for food and shopping, hiking, The Peddler to celebrate my moms 90th birthday. Many went hiking we found time to fit in Dollywood and Mommy and baby girl went to Dixie Stampede. The views from the deck was like a postcard. Had 2 big bears walk within 10 feet of me while I was standing on the porch. The house was spotless and well decorated. Kitchen supplies were amazing. Toaster was a bit slow and missing a foot but toast was not on top of the list. Seating in the deck was more than enough for our group and the older kids (17-48) loved the pool table. The hot tub was used nightly although we had to chase down the lid when high winds blew it off during the night as well as a few deck pillows😂. We had a total of 5 cars and could have parked a few more. Bottom line,The Lodge was the perfect home For our family. And Pam and the rest of the staff at Mountain Laurel are top notch!

Best Cabin in Gatlinburg

This cabin is an absolute dream! So clean, spacious, easy to find, and great location. The rental company was amazing as well. We will be booking all future stays here!

Beautiful chalet with fabulous view!

Our family of 8 enjoyed 4 nights in this chalet with every amenity. It was so clean, newly built, with plenty of bedroom/bath privacy for all of us. We spent family time on the deck playing cards/board games, visiting, enjoying the view, and even saw a couple of bears. Plenty of space throughout for gathering together. The lower level offered billiards, and arcade games too. We went horseback riding, whitewater rafting, shopping downtown, etc. It was a fabulous vacation in a beautiful chalet in the mountains. Fairly easy to get to the chalet via paved roads only a few minutes from Gatlinburg.

Even after driving to some of the lookouts, our view from the house was better! Saw multiple bears there at the cabin. Clean and perfect for our group of 14. Did have ti make a run to the store for toilet paper. There was not enough left there on site. Other than that it had everything we needed!!

Great House, No Amenities

We came here after our wedding to spend a few days with family who flew in from other countries. The house and view is beautiful. On our first day, driving to the house, we drove past a black bear rummaging through trash next to a house under construction right down the road from The Lodge. We were safe in our car so it was a great experience, and taught us to be extra careful during our stay. The house is spacious and very clean. The view from nearly every room in the house was incredible. My only two issues with the house are small and fairly inconsequential:1. There were absolutely no amenities. In a house rental like this, especially with a kitchen with plenty of cookware, we expected some basic items like coffee. There wasn’t even salt and pepper. We bought food to cook but needed to make a second trip to the grocery store for basics that are usually stocked in such rentals, like salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, shampoo, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, etc. 2. There isn’t a welcome binder/instructions. We got an email with instructions to the management office, where we then got directions to the rental property and check in/out info, but usually there’s some sort of instructional binder in the house. This would have come in handy when we needed to know where to put our trash bags during our stay. Instead I was on a call for a half hour with the management office trying to get this answer, which ended up being incorrect information. Other than this, our stay was so wonderful. Mountain Laurel Chalets wrote us a special note welcoming us after our wedding, and everyone there is so friendly and kind. We would definitely stay there again!

First Time

This is my first time staying and or using VRBO. I couldn't be more pleased. The house was perfect and the process was so easy. My only suggestion would be to have a bigger refrigerator for that size house.

I am already planning on when I can return because I miss that house! The house was immaculate, the views were breath taking, we had all we needed in the kitchen and more! Check in was very smooth and the house wasn't hard to find on the map. It truly was a dream staying there and I can't wait until the next time!

Christmas in the Lodge Chalet

It comfortably fit our family of 11, with space to spread out. There is even a bunk room for kids! The kitchen is well equipped, the decor was beautiful and the views are breathtaking no matter which room you choose. We even saw a bear during our stay. Everything about this chalet was perfect and the staff at Mountain Laurel were all friendly and accommodating. This chalet is very close to downtown Gatlinburg as well. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to book it again.
