2000 sq ft beautiful riverviews and river front access, open floor plan, all new appliances, all new furniture, new beds and bedding and paint! Large deck with bbq and outdoor dining and spacious living room. In the Redwood National forest, on the crystal clear Smith River and close to the ocean. Great for quiet getaways, outdoor adventures and family vacations!

This property is amazing! Beautiful, clean home, decorated at Pinterest level, with the sounds, view and access to the Smith River. The layout of the house was spacious for the eight of us, and we really enjoyed the surprise of little extras. Loved the open kitchen and amenities, which is an important feature for our health challenged family. Even though it was set right off of the highway, it felt very private and secluded. Visited the trail off of Walker Road, the beaches and restaurants of Crescent city, and Trees of Mystery in Klamath. Communication with the host and check in and out was a smooth process. Hoping to book another day in the area again!

Our stay was perfect. The location, the accommodations, all of it was wonderful. We appreciate the plethora of available towels for a large group, the linens were lovely, and the little extras throughout the house (guidebooks, games, s’mores kit, etc.) were great. We’re a friend group of locals who rent a house together each summer to float the river and this has been our favorite thus far. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Perfect Smith River Home

Beautiful, well-kept and very clean space right on the river! Great for families and close to so many incredible nature amenities. Nikki was wonderful and communicative, I would come back again in a heartbeat. Perfect spot!!

Family Trip to Redwoods

Such an amazing location- so close to Jedediah Smith. The house was cozy and incredibly clean. Beds were very comfortable. Easy river access! Loved listening to birds and the river drinking our coffee in AM. Nikki was such a great host- quick and responsive. Perfect stay for our family (kids 5 and 7). Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful home right on the river!

This house is stunning and right on the Smith River. It was so peaceful sitting on the back porch listening to the water. The house its self was so cozy, cute, clean, and just perfect for our stay. I had a little date mishap and Nikki was so helpful and understanding! This is a must stay

Beautiful Off the Beaten Path

What a great location right on the Smith River, the pictures don’t really do it justice. There is a house next door but you never see those folks and you basically have that stretch of river to yourself for the kids to goof around in the water. The house is clean and had most of what we needed and then some. Could have used more pillows on the beds and we had to buy olive oil, but aside from that the kitchen is well stocked with spices and utensils. We were very pleasantly surprised with a s’mores set up waiting for us when we arrived. Very short driving distance to lots of great hikes and outdoor activities. And being inland where it is its quite a bit warmer and sunnier than 20 mins away on the coast. We’ll be back. Thanks for some great memories!

The pictures truly do not do justice to this home. The grounds are amazing, the river access and view are wonderful. It was such a great location to see all the beauty of the incredible redwoods!’

House is clean and well appointed and comfortable. However our group did not like the Glade plug-ins in every room. I unplugged all of them when we arrived. Smell is very intense if you're not used to constant chemical fragrance. Otherwise the property is great, beds were liked by all, and we appreciated the easy check out. Thanks

Beautiful, cozy, and quiet

We loved this place. Stayed 6 nights. It is on a private drive. We could only see neighbors on one side and never knew they were there. Opening the back windows we could hear the river. It was nice to open the windows at night and sleep to the sound of the river. Big deck, bbq, sand toys, and a couple tubes. The river isn’t great for playing in. It is moving a little fast and there is no sand. Just lots of very slippery rocks. We did find some crawdads in the river. We floated down a bit of the river on the tubes. Close to a couple great swimming holes down towards Hiouchi. Also close to Jedediah state park and Stout Grove. Crescent city was only 20 minutes away and plenty to do there. T-Mobile works at the house. Consumer Cellular does not. House internet was excellent! Over WiFi a speed test showed ~300Mbps down and ~10Mbps up. Switching to Cellular over Wifi worked well. Host left some ingredients for s’mores which we really enjoyed. I’m glad we stayed further inland. Nights were cool and days would warm up. The temperatures couldn’t have been better. Had we stayed in Crescent City the temperatures would have been much colder all the time and we would have been dealing with a lot of fog. House had everything we needed: utensils, plates, cups, paper towels, etc. I would definitely stay here again! TVs in every room. The living room and kitchen were nice open spaces. Plenty of parking space out front. Thank you for a relaxing retreat!

Beautiful

This house send to be new or at least is in perfect condition. It's large and the rooms are large. It has all if the appliances and grills one might need and it is very clean and quiet. I did not know how lucky I was when I found the location: 1-it is right up against the clear river and in all the time we spent there (the 6 year old wanted to spend all of the time there) we didn't see anyone except for a whitewater raft group and a couple of kayaks. As in their supplied information folder you need to be very careful about poison oak when walking down but the wide river bank is natural river rock. 2- with respect to Redwood NP access, the entrance to get to the Grove of Giants and some other trails is just a couple of minutes away.

Smith River Gem

The property is well maintained, clean, beds are comfortable and it had everything we needed. The close proximity to the river was breathtaking! The back deck is a great place to hang out. About 20 minutes from Crescent City where you'll want to buy groceries. Nikki was extremely responsive to any inquiry. We'll be back!

Awesome location and property. We went with 4 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room. Crescent city is only a short 20 minute ride if you need to get into town. There is fishing and hiking just minutes away from the location and not to mention the river that is in the backyard. Nikki was a great host and communication was amazing. Overall 10/10 experience. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful cozy place! We’ll be back soon!
