"Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."

"Considering the price, the apartment was ok. There is an air fryer, kettle and toaster. Washing up is a challenge in the small sink in the bathroom. Filling the kettle is difficult as it doesn't fit under the tap in the bathroom! The bed was ok, but you can feel the springs. The TV didn't work as the aerial lead was damaged. The hair drier was dangerous as it was full of dust and smelt of burning. The views over the bay were spectacular. Ok for a couple of nights, no longer though."

"Booked 2 cottages for a 50th birthday celebration. 1 of the cottages the plates were filthy and there was a musty smell. The other cottage we kept getting locked out and having to get management out to open the door. We went for an evening meal and waited over 1 hour for the food to come and when it did the food wasn't great. The beer battered fish was so oily and the rump steak was the smallest piece of meat I've ever seen. Then when we checked out the receptionist asked how our stay was. When...

"I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free. "Very friendly staff, the room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The pool was full of kids so we didn't went for a swim. Breakfast was good and had many options. The car park was quite full and the spots were a bit tight (even worse because a lot of people didn't know how to park 🙃) But overall was a nice experience! Highly recommend it!"
