"I was very impressed with this "hotel". It is more of an AirBB as your unit is an apartment in an apartment building with permant residents. It comes nicely furnished, including basic kitchen essentials (like service for four, pots and pans, coffee maker, etc). All of the amenities are modern, and the in-unit washer dryer is a huge plus. "We loved our stay at the Carriage House. Patrick and Kathryn were wonderful hosts. They provided information in a timely manner, and were quick to respond to any questions. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable and well appointed, and Patrick and Kathryn included truly thoughtful touches. "The property was almost exactly as described. The cabin has character and makes you feel at home with the decorations. We had our young grandkids (2 and 4) staying with us. There was plenty of room for them to play, and they loved the bunk beds! When they say the drive is rough, believe it. If you have a car with little ground clearance (Chevy Malibu), you really have to weave around to keep from scraping. Our kids had a mini van and an SUV and they had no problems. "Awesome place, completely renovated, perfect location to town, super clean! I'd recommend and stay here again! Multiple levels with stairs. If you have trouble with stairs I'd look elsewhere also no full kitchen and small refrigerator. That being said this is a 5 star place without question. "Beautiful old farm house that has been very tastefully remodeled to keep its original charm. Host had house stocked with all the essentials incase you would have forgotten something. He knew we would be checking in late so offered to have the couch pulled out and made into a bed for our children so it was when we arrived. Supper friendly, couldn't have ask for a better host. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. "
