"Beautiful stay at the oakhurst farm cottages. Farm shop had lots of food choices for an easy meal or a braai. Lovely meal baskets and a wonderful facility with lots of different options and things to do. Would love to head back in the future!"

There are 2 showers with really good water pressure and hot water. The beds are really comfortable and the electric heating blankets were much appreciated. What a good attention. Thando, the caretaker was very available. We didn’t use the pool because of the weather. Everything is close by, the garden is wonderful. It can get old...

"This is our new favourite when we are in the George area. The amenities are excellent. Walking distance to York St where you can find restaurants, bars, fuel stations, etc. The location is seriously awesome, close enough to get onto the N2 to head either toward Mosselbay/Cape Town, or toward Wilderness, Knysna area. "Das gebuchte Cottage wäre unakzeptabel gewesen. (Weit entfernt von 65 qm, dunkel, Bad wohl eine ehemalige Sauna, hinter dem Häuschen eine lärmende Wasserpumpstation) Wir haben Gott sei Dank unaufgefordert ein besseres Zimmer im Haupthaus bekommen. Das Anwesen ist sehr schön, jedoch entspricht die Darstellung der Ausstattung auf Ihrer Seite in kleinster Weise der Realität. Es gibt nur eine Gemeinschaftsküche für alle Zimmer, die darüberhinaus nicht funktionsfähig ist , weil der Gasherd nicht...

"Gostamos muito da hospedagem. Lugar muito bonito e bem cuidado. Cabana muito agradável e bem completa, com fogão, forno, utensílios de cozinha. Há lareira e lençol térmico para combater o frio. Não tem internet nas cabanas, mas existe um espaço, próximo à casa principal, para quem queira usar o wi-fi. A propriedade conta com uma trilha que leva a uma cachoeira. Recomendo e voltaria com certeza! Parabéns aos proprietários!"

"Some debris from other guests was left in the room and the carpets could have been cleaner. Wifi access was very poor. Fridge was not working when we arrived and staff fixed it, but it took time. There had been a sponge in the kitchen the first day, but then it disappeared. Staff was friendly and the property was in good repair."

"Well situated on high hilltop great view of lake . Property has gated entrance . Seems like a safe environment. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue"
