Welcome to Burly Bear Lodge! This newly remodeled 4,300 sq ft retreat offers breathtaking Bear Lake views and sleeps up to 34 guests with 7 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. Enjoy a private hot tub and barrel sauna, epic basement game room, jacuzzi tubs in ensuite bathrooms, bunk rooms perfect for the kids, & community pool access during summer! The ultimate Bear Lake getaway for large groups and unforgettable family memories!

Spanning three levels and over 4,300 sqft, Burly Bear Lodge was designed for gathering while showcasing breathtaking Bear Lake views through stunning floor-to-ceiling windows. The open-concept main level is the heart of the home, featuring a fully stocked kitchen with upgraded stainless steel appliances, double oven, large island, and spacious dining areas perfect for group meals and memory-making.

Downstairs, the epic game room brings the fun with arcade games, air hockey, and a TV lounge. Step outside to enjoy the private hot tub, barrel sauna, and beautiful lake views. Guests also enjoy access to Ideal Beach Resort with private beach, pools, and family-friendly amenities!

We are central to just about everything. Bear Lake Blvd and its walking/bike path are at the bottom of our hill. It`s about a 15-minute walk to Mikes market and a 10-minute walk to the Marina and Lake.

Winter Advisory: Roads are maintained & plowed, but we HIGHLY recommend an AWD vehicle in the winter.

Absolutely amazing experience, such a beautiful home with plenty of space for entertaining. All of the rooms are wonderful, with plenty of blankets and pillows. I loved that the kitchen was well set up for cooking meals, which made it really easy for us to host our large friend group with home cooked meals. The hot tub was incredible as well! Overall amazing stay with great views!

Nice view from balcony. Large kitchen, well supplied. Would have liked a 2 cup liquid measurer but loved having an extra fridge. It was a huge bonus! Plenty of dining space and seating. Great hot tub and sauna but the pool is summer only. Closed while we were there. No exercise facility. Only a treadmill and the community room.

This house was so perfect for our family reunion. The game room and hot tub were a bit hit for the kids and sitting outside on the deck watching the sunset was a big hit for the adults! Plenty of room in the kitchen and the house was stocked well.

We do NOT recommend staying at Burly Bear Lodge. We booked it because it was a premier host with all 5-star reviews, so you can imagine our shock when we arrived to find crumbs on the kitchen counters and in the cupboard, unwashed dishes put back in the cupboard, and floors that clearly hadn’t been swept or mopped.The bedrooms were even worse. The sheets were covered in sand, dog hair, stains, and wrappers. We had to strip and wash them ourselves. We also found wrappers, used flossers, and Q-tips scattered in the bathrooms. The grill required a deep clean before use, and other areas still needed attention, including dusting, wiping out the fridge, and cleaning the patio.When we texted the owner, they did send someone to clean the kitchen, but by then the first impression was ruined. The only reason we gave 2 stars is because the property has potential, but it was filthy, and we felt uncomfortable the entire stay. We will never stay here again and will NEVER recommend it to a friend.

I have been a Vrbo property owner and a guest at Vrbo properties for 15 years. Positives: the great view from the front balconies, game area downstairs was a treat for grandchildren and seating for 20 around a long table was great. Bear lake is beautiful.Now for the sad & disappointing areas: an owner should never misrepresent a property: in this case the listing talks about a pool and tennis area. The picture in the listing is for the property next door not the one accessible to this property see pictures, it does not have tennis courts that is in the property next door, the sauna spa does not work, the view from the dirty hot tub is the wall of the house see picture, several bed sheets were dirty & appear never to have been washed, bed linen and towels were moist and appeared never to have been properly dried, we had to wash several towels that appeared never to have been washed, there was a bbq area that was filthy see pics, there were candy wrappings and trash under beds, video games need to be properly repaired. It is a 1/2 walk to the garbage disposal area. Several mattresses & pillows need to be replaced. The owner was asked if there were 2 refrigerators: he said no but there were two. We had to clean the area around the front entrance. There were no wash clothes, on the last day a young man came and brought us “cleaning cloths” to use as wash cloths. The owner was very responsive to communications but “letting the team know “ is not a solution . Poor cleaning.

Great Stay

We loved the property. The host was very proactive and very helpful. Loved access to the pool. The only issues we had were that the toilet paper and paper towels were pretty low. Texted the host and they gave us access to the utility closet so we could get more. The cleaning crew that finished right before we arrived must have been in a hurry. They floors were pretty dirty. We would definitely stay there gain! We were a family of 25, with kids ranging from 2-18. The younger kids especially enjoyed the arcade games and the air hockey.

Great place but missing a Christmas tree

We were all very sad that was not a decorated Christmas tree in the property especially after I specifically asked if there would be one there and I was told yes. If I would have known we would have a 3 foot undecorated, I would have brought my own. We had to go into Logan and spend 100 to get a Christmas tree and base and then a trip to Walmart and spent another 60 on lights and ornaments to go on it that I could have brought from home. The home also had a wine opener but no wine glasses so I spent another 40 on those. We had a good time though.

It was perfect! We had 8 couples. We are all nurses and very type a. We like things clean and organized and it all was. There were Plenty of beds. The kitchen had all the tools we needed for cooking! Plenty of towels and such. I’ve had very few amazing vrbo experiences and this is one of them! Seriously don’t have enough gold things to say! I face times my kids while we were there and they are begging to go!

Our annual family reunion was a smashing success!

My wife and I sponsor a mini vacation annually for our 4 children, their partners, and our 7 grandchildren. I've been wanting to stay in the Bear Lake area for several years. This property was ideal with enough space for us all and so many ways to have fun. I overheard one of my sons-in-law say to my other son-in-law, "We're spoiled." That is exactly what I wanted to hear, and exactly how I felt ss well. So if you're looking to spoil yourself and your family, this is the perfect property.

Amazing Stay!

We had a lovely family reunion at this incredible cabin. It's in a great location with a fantastic view. The host, Jake, was awesome and super responsive. I highly recommend this cabin.

The house was comfortable and well stocked. We had 33 people there and plenty of room for everyone. The video arcade room was the biggest hit of all. Kids ranged an age from one month to 16 years old and there was something for everyone.

Already planning our next visit

the owner was extremely accommodating, quick to respond to any concerns, and overall wanted us to enjoy our time there. The house was very clean, large tv's in every room, kitchen well stocked, plenty of seating, lots of beds, lot of entertainment for kids, beds were solid, comfortable and NOT squeaky, hot tub was very clean, sauna was a nice touch, location is awesome, overall would highly recommend!

Great Family Reunion Property

Thank you so much for sharing your newly renovated home with us for our family reunion. The house was so comfortable with room for our large family to enjoy each other. The amenities just put it over the top, arcade style video games, air hockey, foosball, massive TVs, hot tub, it just didn’t end. From a location in Garden City, this place is hard to beat. Right across and up the hill from the marina and 3-5 mins from town. Jake communicated very well and was so helpful. For anyone looking for a place in Bear Lake to rent, don’t pass this place up.
