"Location: We came to Blacksburg for the VT Hokie Focus. Staying close to campus was important for our family of five. This home was about 15 minutes away driving to Burrus hall, close but not walking distance. The location of the home is a bit off the beaten path, not far but not really that close to downtown or the school. "The host was great, he communicated with us very well and gave us very simple instructions for arrival and departure from his rental home. The home was exactly as stated and very comfortable. We had four separate bedrooms snd the beds were very comfortable. We plan to come back in the fall. "

"Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!"

"Owners thought of every detail, even providing coffee, paper products (minus tissues), firewood and firestarter sticks. They came by and checked on us, were not intrusive at all. Very helpful, friendly and concerned that everything was ok, and suggested hiking trails nearby. Definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a relaxing time, beautiful sunsets and stunning mountain views."

"The property was great for our large party. We were there for a Winter semester graduation so outside amenities weren't used. the number of rooms/baths were fantastic.The kitchen and accessories were perfect!As for areas of focus... I would recommend updating the family room furniture for comfort - the furniture is oversized but doesn't provide a lot of seating and takes up space. It was difficult to move around the tables that's in the same space. Also, I would get rid of any iron framed...

"No Check in as 21:30 h do dia 16/07 não foi tão bom, estamos exaustos e aguardamos 15 minutos na recepção, pq o pessoal estava na parte de traz batendo papo . Mas no dia seguinte tudo compensou , maravilhoso , o rapaz da loja de produtos Durty dancing, foi incrível , deixei todas as minhas diletas lá kkkk comprei muito , 500,00 dollares com muito gosto. Não teve como segurar as lágrimas de emoção, aquilo era um sonho realizado . O lago não tem mais, mas tudo vale a pena , O café da manhã maravilhoso, eu comi muito pouco , sou vegetariana e pra mim nsl tinha quase opção , a não ser algumas frutas e omelete com vegetais. Atendimento maravilhoso no restaurante . Super recomendo , e quem for super fã como eu, certeza que irá se emocionar . Bom passeio, aproveite o máximo Ah não vá no inverno, muita subida, serração, neblina e neve , local difícil pata essa época. Bom passeio , curtam muito Obrigada a todos do Montain Lake Lodge , eu amei 🙏❤️"
