Quiet stay in Amish area
The guest house was exactly as pictured. The location was very peaceful and quiet with great views. It is connected to the main house but there were no issues with privacy or noise. Check in was very easy and the house was ready for us when we arrived. The floor in the bathroom needed to be swept (a few dead bugs) but at least they were dead. ;) Other than that, the house was clean and prepared. Very easy check out process as well. Would definitely recommend staying here if group of 4 or less. Anymore than that and you might be uncomfortable. Good stay.

Short getaway
The view from every window was amazing and peaceful. The accommodations were comfortable, very clean and very relaxing. We were only there for an overnight but wished we could’ve stayed longer. I would highly recommend this for an extremely relaxing getaway. Thank you!

Absolutely Perfect
My wife and I travel to Lancaster several times a year. This was by far the best accommodations we have experienced. Everything made our stay comfortable and relaxing. We hope to make this a regular stop on our many trips to the area.

Anniversary getaway
We really enjoyed where we stayed, and enjoyed the shops and new restaurants we tried. The owners were very friendly, and the muffins were delicious. I would definitely want to stay there again if we visit that area.

Country Peace
My wife and I stayed the night here on our way back from Maine and after a day on the road of a lot of traffic it was perfect to be in the country where it was quiet. The sound of an occasional horse and buggy was a pleasant interruption to the silence. The home was great, and one that I could see spending several days at while visiting the local attractions.

Feast of Tabernacles stay
It was pleasant to be in a very country (and Amish) environment. We did miss having a TV onsite but we did finish many puzzles over the evenings.

Hope to Return Next Year!
Sadie and Amos are friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. The clean and comfortable rental is in a peaceful location, surrounded by farms and yet centrally located and near to many of the tourist attractions. Since we stayed for 10 days, we appreciated that a washer and dryer is included. We hope to stay at Scenic View Lodging again next year!

Very quiet and good location for our overnight on way to NYC. We did not notice in the listing there is no tv which for one overnight was not that big of a deal but would have been nice to have after long day of travel. We were happy to have the private driveway as we had several items in our car for moving our son to NYC and we could safely leave it in car overnight. Property was quaint but not updated.

Beautiful Location
We had a wonderful time! The house was surrounded by wonderful farmland. Sadie was next door and she let my kids play with the dogs. Overall a great time.

Beautiful location
Thoroughly enjoyed the front porch. Sadie was very nice. We didn’t get to spend too much time together, as we just spent one night and were on our way, but she came over to say hello and the cute poodle was a pleasure too!

Breath of fresh air

Great quiet getaway
This is just what we needed. A quiet peaceful setting in the country. Close to all amenities, and great views of the farms while sitting on the front or back porch. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We stayed with my in-laws and we were able to sleep 4 people. There's one private bedroom, and a pull out Futon in the living room which was actually quiet comfortable. I believe they have a 2nd bedroom upstairs for an additional charge, but we didn't need it. Would definitely stay again. It's a 10 minute drive to Kitchen Kettle Village.

Relaxing Pennsylvania vacation
This property was clean and comfortablxe. As soon as we walked in we felt as if we were at home and could relax. We loved the setting in the countryside and never got tired of seeing and hearing the buggies going by. My favorite spot was sitting on the front porch watching the buggies. There is also a nice deck out back. One night a horseback rider came through the fields across the street. She rode around the fields for a bit. It was so pretty! Sadie is a wonderful host. She is very kind and availble by phoone if she isn't home it was our pleasure to personally meet Sadie and her husband. I hope we have the chance to come again. Thank-you!

Beautiful Amish Setting
We enjoyed staying in the Amish community. It was nice seeing the horses and buggies passing by each day. The owner was very accommodating. The house was near all attractions. We would stay again.

Peaceful Spot
Amos and Sadie were great hosts, and they have a beautiful backyard to relax, enjoy some sun or shade and we had some good conversation with them. The swing set and sandbox was great for the kids. Amos was nice enough to give us a buggy ride and we had a perfect evening for it. Highly recommend if you are wanting a peaceful place in Amish country!

Nice place, lovely attentive hosts, surrounded by beautiful views. The muffins were a delicious surprise, bed was comfy and the keurig coffee maker was fantastic to wake up and have a cup enjoying the view. This was very convenient to our daughters house, and a lovely stay, we'll certainly be back.

Peaceful and scenic
Your place is adequately named. We travel to the Amish country often and never tire of seeing the farmland and working in the fields and the buggies and the children on bicycles or walking to school, all of which we saw again right from the living room window. And the sunrise. Your house is just the right size and very well-accomodated. Thank you for the delicious muffins.

Perfect place to bring our daughter as we prepared for her wedding! Every window has a beautiful view and the house feels like home with all the amenities and open kitchen living room area. Sadie was an awesome host and helped us in many a situation. Gorgeous farm and field landscapes and so relaxing, we loved our stay here!
