Welcome to Half Pint! - Pet Friendly, Snowbirds, Winter Texans, Travel Nurses Welcome for Extended Stays!

Fully furnished and equipped, looking to house a monthly or long term tenant during the off-peak season. "Half Pint" is located nearby all of Galveston's most famous attractions and destinations, creating opportunities for visitors and nomads alike. You are within just 5 minutes (driving distance) to the following notable sights and world renowned places of interests, including: UTMB Health, The Historic Strand District, Seawall Blvd, historical museums including The Bryan Museum, Moody Mansion, 1859 Ashton Villa, and popular dining establishments such as; The Sunflower Bakery & Cafe, Mosquito Cafe, The Spot, and tons more!

Step inside our cozy abode and be greeted by a comfortable and spacious living space. Prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with full-sized appliances and all the cookware and utensils you'll need. Enjoy your meals and create lasting memories with your loved ones. Featuring two bedrooms perfect for accommodating up to 6 guests, with a sleeper sofa in the living area for extra sleeping. Relax and soak up the Texas sun in the fully fenced-in yard providing a safe and inviting environment for families and pets. After a long day enjoying Galveston's many amenities, sit back and enjoy the modern amenities such as Wifi, a flat-screen TV with streaming capabilities, a washer/dryer, and air conditioning units to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a retreat with friends, Half Pint provides a welcoming and convenient home away from home. Book your stay with us and "Live Like a Local!" There may be some variations in furnishings or decor since pictures were taken.

Home is pet friendly for up to 2 pets with approval, contact our office for more information. $100.00 non-refundable fee for the 1st pet and $50 non-refundable fee for the 2nd pet. Guest must contact our office prior to arrival to make arrangements for payment of pet fee and/or signature on a pet addendum.

All fees and services are subject to 15% tax. We welcome our guests and work diligently to make their experience memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. A photocopy of identification of the main renter is required prior to arrival of stay. **Surveillance/recording device located on exterior of home. This provides visual and audio information to the homeowner upon entry to the property. There are no devices inside the home.

This place is great! It was clean and well-taken care of. The little yard was great for our Pekingese. The house is in a convenient location- itā€™s close to everything. We loved this cozy little place and will definitely stay again.

The houses are abandoned across the street, and itā€™s sort of not the nicest area. The neighbor next door has a dog that barks a lot. Kind of glad we decided not to bring our dog, because the barking would have been non-stop probably. But the cottage was super cute! All new appliances inside and very clean. The house stayed cooled off with the three window units and we really enjoyed it there. Would probably rent it again if we come back to Galveston.

We enjoyed our little mini vacation before going our cruise. This house was perfect for our family of 5 to hang around enjoying family time. We had enough room for all of us to sleep. The best part was even tho itā€™s tiny one the outside, there is plenty of space and we didnā€™t feel like we were stepping on one another. The next time we will definitely stay here.

Enjoyed the stay! It was exactly what we needed - it was clean and hospitable. Neighbor dogs barking was annoying but I get it. Canā€™t control that. I needed to look at the room a little closer because one room had the window unit blowing right on the lower bunk bed, which for me was fine. Luckily one of the older ladies I was with, who canā€™t tolerate the cold, is able to handle the ladder. We worked it out. Not sure what to make of the plant growing through the window into the house. Lol. Overall, we had a good stay.

There was a 40 ounce Old English malt liquor bottle on the curb, along with other trash in the yard. There is a sharp nail or staple sticking up from the wood flooring in the guest room that could seriously lacerate someoneā€™s foot. And only 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 days- definitely not enough. Glad we brought some with us. Most likely (very obvious) illegal activity occurring ALL NIGHT every NIGHT across the street. The dogs next door BARKED ALL DAY AND NIGHT LONG! So no one got any sleep, and my husband was running in the Ironman on Sunday. Unfortunately all of this overshadowed the cute house and comfortable beds. Please be more transparent about the unsafe location, horrible neighbors, barking dogs, and please repair the nail in the floor before someone seriously lacerates their foot. I rarely leave reviews, but this needs to be addressed.

The property was smaller than I had expected but was very nicely furnished and decorated. There was plenty of parking space for our cars. The neighborhood was not the best with two houses across the street still in bad shape but the ones next to it were nice. The nextdoor neighbor was very nice also. It was too far from both the beach and town to walk but only a short ride in the car. We enjoyed it very much. .

I wanted to find a place to stay as my husband was in ICU. The hosts allowed my 2 cats and 2 dogs to stay with me. They went above and beyond to help me and I will be forever grateful. The neighbor is a bit rough looking but the neighbors are fantastic and very friendly. The home is so easy to live in with everything a person could require for a pleasant stay. They offer a nice little privacy backyard for pets and children with BBQ and chairs. Very satisfied.

Cute little house. Window ac units worked. Lights were on to change filter. Great backyard area for pets. However there were roaches in the kitchen utensil drawer and shower stall. May need to have treated. The sofa and side chair had stains. Beds were great and comfortable. Overall it was a nice place to stay. The street and location are a bit concerning but i felt comfortable and safe in the house.
