"Cool beachy vibe, easy in and out access. Walking distance to beach and close proximity to local coffee shops and wineries. The space was cozy and sort of like an extra large hotel room with full kitchenette. If you are looking for something different than the common hotel definitely recommend. The only thing i would change is the shower head...plenty of water pressure but thats just one simple easy change. We loved the stay."

"This was a beautiful property in a lovely residential area close enough to downtown for a nice walk. My grandchildren were delighted with the pool (as were the adults who were happy that it was heated). The home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable and outfitted with top of the line appliances. The hosts are also very friendly and generous and seek to make your stay a real pleasure. Would absolutely stay again when we would want more than 2 bedrooms (the house has 5 spacious ones)."

"The location was PERFECT. Just a 5 minute walk down a sandy path to a beautiful beach and Lake Michigan! The tiny cottage was perfect for two people. The bed however is very very hard. If you’re young you’d be okay, but us older folks don’t do well on firm beds lolOther than that our weekend stay was perfect!"

"Driftwood Cottage has everything you need for a dreamy Midwest lake holiday. The home is comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything you need whether beach chairs, toys, towels or board games later on. Management is easy to reach and responsive.The beach itself is private, close and even has parking. Our family loved the experience and look forward to returning. "

"Nicely decorated apartment with everything we needed. Convenient location, within walking distance to market square/downtown. Hosts were pleasant and very quick to respond. The only issue was AC units were having trouble keeping the apartment cool in the summer heat. "

"The location is great and right near New Buffalo. The beds were comfortable and the place was nice and had what we needed."

"The property was clean and comfortable and was all we needed for a couple of nights. It was as described in the listing.It seems to be a little hidden gem as other properties on the same street appear dilapidated and neglected."

"This house was perfect for our son and his lab! Close to the marina where we were staying. The fenced on backyard was great for the dog. The back yard had a grill that we did not use this time also looked like a great area for a family get together. Mathew was an attentive host"

"Our stay here was wonderful!! It is a beautiful space. I love antiques charm- this place had it all. Beautiful wood, comfy furniture. Our host even left snacks and drinks for us! It was quiet and comfortable. Communication was great and check-in was super easy. I wish we were able to get there early enough to enjoy the restaurant downstairs. You would never even know it is there- quiet and no smell of food in the apartment. I absolutely plan to book again either for a ND game or a...

"Returned to North Wind for another Moms/Daughters weekend getaway. We love the easy location to the beach and the layout of the rental - the outdoor shower for removing sand and the wagon to haul things to the beach are also a plus! Great communication with owners and cute upper level rental. We'll be back! "
