"My family and I stayed at Seiri Del Mar, and we just left this place!! we’re visiting Hopkins. We usually stay at another place nearby, but they were booked up so we gave this resort a try. "The place is very good, big, clean, great structure, everything you need. On the third floor, can be complicated for those with many bags. Just missed a little bit of privacy in some occasions. I had issues with the AC and the guy who fixed it was inside the bedroom when I came back from work in the next day (I asked them to let me know when he would fix it). Also, in another time, they were entering the apartment without letting me know first. There's still construction working on the building...

"An amazing home in a beautiful location. It was way more home than we needed, but we sure enjoyed the extra amenities and space. The views are unbelievable and the location is perfect for accessing parks and tours along the Hummingbird Highway. The only things I would note is that the deck was tough to use after dark if you have any lights on as there were lots of large flying beetles drawn to them but it's a jungle stay so you get what comes with that. "Really enjoyed my stay at Areca House. I was there solo for a vacation; however, it would be fine too for a couple. Great location to the beach (just across the street), as well as close to restaurants (within walking distance). It was great to enjoy Garifuna places of interest (wonderful food, etc.). Doc responded quickly to my initial inquiries, and Janette provided a helpful introduction to the place after I arrived. Would recommend Areca House!"

"The camp is a wonderful place to stay if you’re going to be venturing around Belize. It is centrally located just outside of Belize city and is actually a short drive to almost anywhere in the country. We toured all over the country while staying there and easily made it back each day to the camp by bedtime. The place is run by some wonderful people who love their job and make you feel very welcome and at home. I will definitely be staying there when I go back to conduct business in Belize."
